The Young and the Restless Monday, May 13 Recap: Billy Scores Jill’s Job, Sally Busted Over Secret

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, May 13, reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will find Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) alone at the GCAC, so she’ll taunt her about the case she chose over Danny Romalotti’s (Michael Damian) tour.

Once Danny appears, Christine will explain that she actually turned down the case and decided to go with Danny after all.

Phyllis will act like Christine just wants to punish her, but Christine will insist this is about falling back in love with Danny.

After Phyllis leaves in a huff on Monday’s Y&R episode, Danny and Christine will kiss as they look forward to their latest adventure together.

At Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) place, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will offer coffee, muffins, a hug and a sympathetic ear.

Adam will have disturbing updates following his visit with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) facility, where Connor’s struggling to adjust to his meds and has started punching his legs to the point that they’re bruised.

Sally will assure Adam that Connor’s in a great facility and urge him to trust that, but she’ll still wish he could take his pain away.

After Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) texts Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about meeting up ASAP, he’ll get a visit from Chelsea at the office.

Chelsea will cry over all the latest news about Connor, especially since they’ll have to move him to a special inpatient facility where he’ll be more isolated and monitored if the physical self-harm continues.

While Billy gives Chelsea a pep talk, Lily will have a conversation with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) at Society. That’ll involve some talk about all the Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) drama.

Devon will admit he agreed with Mamie about needing to push Billy out of the company, but Lily won’t think they need to start a war with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).

Once Lily gets a text and leaves to meet with Billy privately, Devon will assume trouble’s brewing. Nate and Devon will eventually decide to join the meeting so that they can find out for themselves what’s up.

When Lily arrives at Chancellor-Winters, she’ll walk in on Billy comforting Chelsea over Connor.

Although Lily will worry about interrupting, Chelsea will leave to handle some Marchetti business – and Billy will admit to Lily that he thinks the distraction will be good for her.

Once Billy gets to the reason for this meeting, he’ll admit that Jill has decided to step away and has handed all her decision-making power to him.

Lily will find it suspicious that Jill didn’t give the rest of them a heads-up, but Billy will make it clear that this isn’t a manipulative move on his part.

Despite Billy’s claims that he’s just as surprised about Jill’s choice, Lily will be skeptical.

After Devon shows up with Nate, they’ll also find out about Jill’s shocker.

Devon will ask if this is one of Billy’s power plays, but Lily won’t think they should jump to conclusions without talking to Jill first.

However, that’ll prove difficult since Jill will be unreachable on a plane while she’s off traveling the world.

Billy will insist they have to make this work, but Devon won’t think they have to do anything until they speak with Jill. Devon will add that they’re not just going to let Billy get away with this!

Once Chelsea arrives at Adam’s condo, Sally will praise them for how they’re handling things with Connor and take off.

Chelsea will worry that Adam blames her for Connor’s problems, but he’ll assure her that he doesn’t – and he’ll be working on not blaming himself either.

Adam will also admit he’s come around on trusting the doctors at Connor’s facility and will console Chelsea as they try to get through this together.

At Crimson Lights, Sally will meet with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), who’ll insist Sally is busted.

It turns out Sally’s been paying interior design business bills from her personal account, so Chloe will confess that she found out.

Chloe will suggest maybe Adam’s idea of joining Newman Enterprises is their last hope, but Sally won’t want to ask him for help changing Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) mind when he’s under so much Connor stress.

Sally won’t be keen on turning to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) either and will think maybe they need to just go back to fashion since they know it best.

Chloe and Sally will resolve to figure out a solution without the Newman brothers’ assistance, so they’ll be committed to digging themselves out of this hole on their own.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally and Chloe will face some surprises along the way, so we’ll bring you more predictions on their career journey.
