The Young and the Restless Monday, October 21 Recap: Billy & Sally’s Drunken Kiss, Adam & Victor Trade Confessions

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, October 21, reveals that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will shut down Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) attempt to smooth things over and recruit her for the Chancellor team. Lily will make it clear that she deserves to run Chancellor instead and will refuse to give up on that goal.

Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will make a pitch for Lily to join Winters, but she’ll refuse on Monday’s Y&R episode.

Lily will believe Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) going to put her in charge after Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) fails to meet her demands in three weeks, but Nate and Devon won’t seem as certain.

Nate will also get another message from Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford), who’s coming to Genoa City tomorrow and has something to tell him.

As Nate ponders the news, he’ll give Devon and Lily updates.

At Newman Enterprises, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) why he’s so determined to go after Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Adam will realize this goes back to Jack taking drugs in that GCAC suite with Nikki.

Although Adam will think Jack was trying to help, he’ll also understand that the thought of almost losing Nikki shook Victor up.

Adam will ultimately agree to tow the company line, but he’ll continue to stand against targeting Jack and Jabot directly.

During this conversation, Adam will confess his breakup with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and how he did something there’s no coming back from.

Victor will assume this relates to Billy and Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) split.

After Victor mentions that Adam’s been getting closer to Chelsea, he’ll suggest she’s a better match for him than Sally was.

At Crimson Lights, Adam will have an awkward run-in with Sally, who’ll end up at the jazz lounge with Billy afterward.

Billy and Sally will do whiskey shots while she tells him about growing up on the carnival circuit.

Once Sally and Billy get drunk, he’ll escort her to her suite door – though they’ll both be pretty wobbly. Billy and Sally will ultimately share a close moment that leads to a sizzling kiss.

Back with Victor, he’ll remain a man of mystery as Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) grills him about the new wedding venue.

Abby will also ask Victor to walk her down the aisle with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), so he’ll gladly agree.

Later, Nikki will voice concerns to Victor about Billy’s revenge, but he’ll keep his eye on the prize and will act like everything’s going to be fine.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy could cause more trouble than Victor bargained for, so stick with us for more predictions on their growing feud.
