The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, September 16, reveals that “Cameron Kirsten” (Linden Ashby) will keep pushing Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) to act, so he’ll drop hints about wiping out Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) to ease her heartache.
Sharon will eventually bolt from the cottage and head to Crimson Lights, where she’ll snap at Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) and have to cover with some apologies.
At Society, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will strategize with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) about how to help Sharon, who missed a doctor’s appointment according to a message left with Cassidy First’s receptionist.
Nick will recall how scary things were before Sharon received her diagnosis, so he’ll want to be extra cautious now.
After Nick basically suggests an intervention, he’ll think maybe they should join Sharon for some group sessions with her doctor, too.
At the cottage, Nick will leave Sharon a voicemail and lie that it’s about Faith in hopes that she’ll call him back.
Faith will be upset over this whole situation, but she’ll insist on being part of Nick and Mariah’s efforts to help Sharon.
At Daniel and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) penthouse, they’ll get into a big argument about whether moving away from Genoa City is the right call.
Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will weigh in eventually and act like Heather’s being totally unfair.
Once Lucy stomps off, Heather will complain about Daniel not backing her up.
Daniel will side with Lucy since running away from problems isn’t the answer, so Heather will throw it in his face how he left his family in Savannah.
After Daniel leaves the penthouse in a huff, Heather and Lucy will have a heart-to-heart that helps ease the tension a bit.
Back at the coffeehouse on Monday’s Y&R episode, Sharon will spot Daniel as he enters and sits down at a table.
“Cameron” will warn Sharon not to blow this and scare Daniel off since she might never get another chance.
Next, Sharon will approach Daniel and ask him to join her on the patio, but he won’t think that’s such a good idea.
However, Sharon will keep their interaction polite and will suggest there are a few things she wants to clear up.
While Sharon seemingly lures Daniel into a trap at “Cameron’s” urging, Nick will get Esther on the phone.
Esther will admit Sharon isn’t acting like herself at Crimson Lights, so Nick will ask her to keep Sharon in the coffeehouse until he can get there.
At the GCAC, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will share a basket of french fries with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and spot Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) with Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) as they come downstairs together.
It’ll be obvious what Cole and Victoria were doing, there’ll be some awkwardness once they join Kyle and Claire for dinner.
Claire and Kyle will also face questions about their hang-out session, but they’ll act like they’re just friends.
Once Cole offers updates on his permanent GC move, he’ll suggest maybe Claire can visit England with him when he gets the rest of his things.
Claire will invite Kyle to be the tour guide of their family trip, so he’ll be on board with that idea.
After Kyle leaves, Claire will stick to her friendship story despite Cole and Victoria implying otherwise.
Victoria and Cole will avoid labels when it comes to their own relationship, but they’ll seem eager to see where things go.
At the Abbott mansion, Kyle will smile as he flashes back to his earlier kiss with Claire in the park.
