The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 19 to August 30, reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will score some surprising information thanks to Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) digging.
The week of August 19-23 will bring Victor’s discovery of Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) cardiac issues, so it looks like he’ll use her illness as leverage when he makes his next move.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will feel stuck thanks to whatever Victor pulls, so maybe Victor will want him to fire Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and keep her out of the turmoil that’s brewing.
Victor doesn’t need someone as smart as Lily cleaning up Billy’s messes, so he may force Billy to cut her loose.
If Billy doesn’t cooperate, he might fear Victor is cruel enough to leak updates to the press regarding the news of Jill’s illness.
Billy will indeed tell Lily that her services are no longer needed, so she’ll be blindsided when she learns he’ll be running Abbott-Chancellor on his own.
Over with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he’ll realize it’s time to settle his conflict with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) so they can actually work as a business team.
Audra will be on board, so she’ll settle on the details of a truce with Kyle soon enough.
Later, Kyle will want to enjoy a nice meal with Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) at Society, but there’ll be an unexpected encounter that throws off their night.
Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will have a similar idea since they’ll show up to dine there, too.
There’ll be some awkwardness and plenty of tension, but Diane will hope she can fix her broken bond with Kyle and may launch a forgiveness attempt.
Will Claire urge Kyle to make amends with his mother the way she’s made amends with her own?
Claire and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) situation isn’t exactly the same, but maybe Claire will still think Kyle wants his mom in his life deep down.
At some point, Diane and Jack will do some plotting behind the scenes.
Since Jack and Diane won’t want Kyle tangled up in Victor’s web, they’ll brainstorm ways they can ruin Kyle’s alliance with him – even if it means playing just as dirty as “The Moustache” himself!
Next, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will tell Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that they have to come clean to their respective partners, but Adam may not believe Chelsea will actually go through with it.
Nevertheless, Chelsea will ultimately confess something huge, so she may admit to Billy that she slept with Adam in Baltimore.
Sally Spectra (Coutney Hope) will also want to know if that’s what happened, but will Adam come clean like Chelsea?
Since Adam seemingly won’t realize Chelsea is confessing, he may lie to Sally all over again.
Y&R spoilers say Adam will hold firm on something, so that could mean he’ll swear no lines were crossed in the bedroom.
Over with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), she’ll have to deal with more Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) hallucinations.
“Cameron” will toy with Sharon in some troubling ways and will eventually lead to her making some wild moves.
During the week of August 26-30, Billy may face a tough dilemma.
If Chelsea pleads with Billy to forgive her mistake and keep the hotel secret out of Sally’s hands, what will he do?
Since Billy hates Adam and cares about Sally, it’s hard to imagine him sitting on this shocker for too long.
Billy may also have a hard time forgiving Chelsea since this was such a major betrayal with so many lies behind it.
As for Adam, his reckoning day may finally arrive.
If Billy disputes Adam’s story and shares that Chelsea cracked under the pressure, Sally will know just how deep Adam’s deception ran.
There’s no way Sally will forgive Adam for hooking up with his ex and lying for so long, so he should go ahead and prepare for their split!
