The Young and the Restless Preview: Week of February 5 – Jack’s SOS to Victor – Plastered Nikki Rants Over Betrayal

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) preview video for the week of February 5-9 reveals that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will request a meeting with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), so that’ll leave Tessa confused – mostly because Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) won’t be included.

As Abby smiles a bit mischievously, she’ll insist she has a proposition for Tessa.

Now that Abby is joining Chancellor-Winters’ board and getting more involved in the corporate world again, she might want to take a step back from Society.

Could Abby hope to hire Tessa to manage the restaurant when she can’t be there?

Tessa is a performer at heart, but Abby may think that’ll serve Tessa well as she tackles Society’s crowds and aims to please customers.

Since Tessa has worked at Society before, Abby may make a solid pitch for her to run the place and suggest this could be a mutually beneficial arrangement for them both.

Of course, it’s also possible this will involve some sort of surprise for Mariah since Valentine’s Day is coming up, but it seems more likely that Abby’s offer will relate to Tessa’s career.

Over with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), he’ll have an awkward encounter with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) at Crimson Lights.

Christine and Danny will acknowledge that it’s the first time they’ve seen each other since she saw him kissing Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Although Danny will try to explain that Christine misunderstood the situation, she won’t be so sure. Danny may be more attracted to Phyllis than he’s willing to admit – even to himself!

Meanwhile, it looks like Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will get drunk at a bar and require a rescue.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will get updates on Nikki’s latest fall off the wagon and mull over how to handle the news.

Since this will be Nikki’s worst slip yet, Jack will apparently decide he can’t leave Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in the dark this time.

Y&R’s weekly preview video shows an intoxicated Nikki struggling to focus as Victor greets her. When Nikki realizes Jack presumably called Victor, she glares at him and demands answers.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor may defend Jack for betraying Nikki’s trust since it’s obvious she’ll need her husband’s support!
