The Young and the Restless Recap: Friday, February 16 – Jordan’s Fake Sob Story Fools Seth, Lies About Nikki

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, February 16, reveals that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will show up at Chancellor-Winters and ask to speak with Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) alone. Although Billy will feel the topic of discussion is out of Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) scope, Devon will insist it’s fine if Nate stays.

During their meeting, Billy will pitch the idea of changing the company’s name to Abbott-Winters-Chancellor to better represent Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) contribution.

However, Devon will point out that Jill never wanted to change the name when she was running Chancellor Industries – and Abbott is just one of the many names Jill’s had anyway.

After Billy stands his ground, Devon will suggest that he can relay Billy’s idea to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and get back to him on it.

Once Billy leaves, Nate will admit he’s with Devon when it comes to being against the change and Billy’s personal power play.

The fact that Billy brought this up instead of Jill will tell Devon all he needs to know.

Nate will also mention Billy accusing Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) of being a threat, so Devon will acknowledge that they need to keep an eye on him.

At Crimson Lights on Friday’s Y&R episode, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will fret over Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and relay some updates from his school.

Billy will also admit his meeting with Devon didn’t go well, but he’ll act like that was to be expected and won’t plan on giving up.

Since Chelsea will need some stress relief, Billy will head up to her apartment with her for some passion in the bedroom.

Chelsea will feel guilty about being so happy while Connor’s struggling, but Billy will think it’s important to have good days that get you through the bad.

At The Empty Glass, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will introduce herself as “Isabel” and act like she already knows Seth’s (Brian Gaskill) name from the AA meetings she’s slipped in.

After Jordan suggests that they have someone in common, she’ll reveal that it’s Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

Jordan will get more drinks for them as she tells a fake sob story about being good friends with Nikki once upon a time.

Once Jordan claims they used to hit all the bars and charm the bartenders for free drinks, she’ll lie that they eventually got sober together.

However, Jordan will insist that after she stumbled, Nikki cut her off and devastated her. Seth will relate to that story and admit he’s missing Nikki’s friendship now that she cut him off as her sponsor.

Although “Isabel” will suggest it’s too late for her to fix things with Nikki, she’ll push Seth to get his own friendship with Nikki back on track since it’s such a rare and beautiful thing.

Jordan will act like this could change Seth’s world, so she’ll get the wheels turning for him.

At the ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will grumble after finding Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) with Nikki.

When Victor learns Nikki’s been provoking Jordan over the phone, he’ll try to blame Jack for that, too.

Nikki will defend Jack since he wasn’t even there at the time. It was Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) who urged Nikki not to be intimidated.

Nikki will make it clear that both Jack and Lauren are the reason she was able to stay sober today, so Victor will calm down and reiterate that he accepts Jack as Nikki’s sponsor.

After Jack’s gone, Nikki will fish for details on Victor’s trap for Jordan and realize he wants to use Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) to relay news to her.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will show up to object to Victor’s plan again, but Victor will act like Claire’s not going to be in any danger.

Nikki will fill Victoria in on her conversation with Jordan and suggest another plan instead – one that involves her pushing Jordan’s buttons over and over until she makes a fatal mistake!

Since Nikki won’t think Jordan can help herself when it comes to reaching out to her, she’ll want to stay at the center of the plot to bring the enemy down.

At the Abbott house, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will try to shut up the voices in her head and will seem incredibly anxious as she searches for someone else in the house.

After Ashley has a drink, she’ll jump when Jack enters and fill him in on the car accident earlier that stirred up a lot of complicated feelings.

Ashley will fall apart in Jack’s arms and admit she doesn’t know what’s happening to her. It’ll leave Ashley feeling like she wants to curl up in a ball or run away and never come back.

Jack will assure Ashley that she’s not alone and argue that she’s going to get through this, so she’ll eventually dry her tears and act more stoic.

Although Ashley will claim Jack’s right and that she’s seeing things more clearly, he’ll remain worried.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley needs some serious help, so stay tuned to see if she’ll get it before it’s too late!
