The Young and the Restless Recap: Friday, February 9 – Audra Furious Over Tucker’s Spying – Billy Warns New Enemy

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, February 9, reveals that Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) won’t like how they left things and will push Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) to continue their earlier conversation.

Danny will make excuses to avoid going back inside the apartment since Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will still be in there with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), so he’ll head to Crimson Lights with Christine.

That’s where Christine will get Danny’s confirmation that what’s been happening between them is real, but he’ll still have concerns about all the conflict that’s been going on with Phyllis.

Back at Daniel’s place on Friday’s Y&R episode, he’ll accuse Phyllis of being up to her old tricks and will think this Danny pursuit is really about her feud with Christine.

Phyllis will get fed up with Daniel and annoy him when she keeps comparing her relationship with Danny to Daniel’s relationship with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).

After Phyllis points out how sweet it is that Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) is pulling for her parents, she’ll insist Daniel’s breaking her heart by rooting against his own.

Once Phyllis stomps off, she’ll interrupt Danny’s discussion with Christine at the coffeehouse and intentionally mention that she was at Daniel’s place earlier.

That’ll make Christine realize why Danny was in such a hurry to get her out of the building, so she’ll act like Danny enjoys playing them against each other.

Danny will argue that’s far from the case and reiterate that he can’t handle all this drama, so he’ll storm out on both Phyllis and Christine.

On a plane home, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will seem pensive as she thinks back to the waiter backing up Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) story and the two different versions of events.

At the GCAC, Tucker will pester Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for information on Ashley since he thought she’d back from Paris by now. Billy will make it clear that Ashley is no longer Tucker’s business.

After Billy gloats about all the good things in his life, he’ll act like Tucker’s never going to have the same satisfaction. Tucker will eventually hint that maybe Billy will be the one to take over Jabot since that’s something he’d like to see.

In Tucker’s suite, he’ll get a text about Ashley’s return from Paris and will ask the person watching her to share when she’s back at the Abbott house.

At Society, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will quiz Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) about her scheme against Tucker and accuse her of actually falling for him.

Audra will act like she’s got everything under control and will make a speedy exit once Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) arrives.

Mamie will view Audra as someone who’s like a young Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), so she’ll warn Nate to steer clear of her.

After Mamie grills Nate about his relationship with Billy at Chancellor-Winters, she’ll suggest making Billy his new best friend. Mamie will feel like they have to find out what Jill and Billy are up to.

Since Jill is obviously feeling threatened and gathering up reinforcements, Mamie will view Billy and Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) hiring as part of all that.

Billy will arrive and question what’s got Mamie so uneasy, so Nate will explain that Mamie suspects a powerplay on Jill’s part. Although Nate will try to push for peace all around, Billy will suspect Mamie is the real threat here.

After all, Mamie got involved in Chancellor-Winters because of her desire to oust Jill – a desire that Tucker shares.

Although Mamie eventually bailed on that alliance, Billy will point out that the impulse was still there.

Nate will argue that if Tucker is really coming for them, then they need to present a united front.

Billy will contend that if Nate wants to help with that, then he needs to convince Mamie that coming after Jill is a fool’s errand that’ll fail.

At the Abbott house, Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will get updates on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) grudgingly agreeing to let Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) remain Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) sponsor.

Diane will have concerns about Jack potentially landing in the path of Jordan (Colleen Zenk) the psychopath, but he’ll insist they have their own security to offer protection.

After Diane asks if Jack’s been tempted to take pain pills again, he’ll assure her that he hasn’t. Diane will tear up and want to be there for Jack if that changes, so he’ll appreciate her for being his rock.

When Ashley comes home, she’ll talk to Jack and Diane about Tucker bribing the waiter. That’ll lead to Diane and Jack exchanging an uncomfortable look, so Ashley will ask what that’s about.

After Jack hints about a family meeting with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway), Ashley will get upset and push for answers about what he’s not telling her.

Back in Tucker’s suite, Audra will show up and reveal that two of the companies he suggested folding into Glissade have troubling financials, but she found viable alternatives.

It’ll become clear that Tucker already knew that and was testing Audra, but he’ll basically insist he likes the excitement of not trusting each other.

As things take a passionate turn, Tucker will get a text notification, so Audra will swipe his phone from his pocket to check it.

When Audra realizes Tucker is still keeping tabs on Ashley, she’ll be furious.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tucker’s Ashley obsession will remain a problem, so stay tuned for the bad news that could lead to.
