The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, February 5, reveals that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will share a meal with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) at the bistro where all the drama with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) went down, so that’ll trigger some doubts about her memories.
However, Ashley will shake off Tucker’s version of events and insist she’s right about how things went down.
Traci won’t think there’s any way to know if the waiter’s telling the truth without hooking him up to a lie detector test.
Furthermore, Traci will feel like obsessing over this is just giving Tucker more power over Ashley.
Although Traci will push Ashley to come home with her, Ashley will send her sister back to Genoa City alone.
In the meantime, Ashley will want to stick around Paris and talk through all this with a friend there.
Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will meet with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) about a partnership between Cassidy First Technology and Chancellor-Winters.
Nate and Devon will feel good about how things are shaping up, but they’ll need to get Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to sign off on the details before they can move forward with contracts.
After Sharon exits, Devon and Nate will discuss Tucker and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) since they’ll be having lunch across the GCAC dining room.
Since Nate will keep looking over at Audra and seem protective of her, Devon will basically warn that she’s trouble and feel like Nate should keep his distance.
Audra is temptation that Nate doesn’t need if he wants to stay on this positive path with his family.
Later, Sharon will mention the earlier meeting when she bumps into Billy at Crimson Lights, so he’ll realize he wasn’t invited and get irritated over that news.
Although Sharon will worry about striking the deal if there’s drama behind the scenes, Billy will downplay it.
At Chancellor-Winters, Billy will confront Devon and Nate about the meeting he was left out of, but Devon will act like it just came together fast and that it was kept simple.
Billy will suggest they can chalk it up to a scheduling mishap, but he’ll make it clear that they all need to be on the same team moving forward – especially since Tucker is still a threat.
Once Billy leaves, Nate won’t seem that concerned about Tucker causing issues at Chancellor-Winters since his plate is already full, but Devon will always be on guard when it comes to his bio dad.
Meanwhile, Audra will continue her lunch with Tucker and acknowledge that they don’t trust each other, but Tucker will think that’s part of the thrill and just highlights how alike they are.
There’ll be some talk about Audra and Tucker being all in before they head back up to Tucker’s suite.
Audra will feel like Tucker’s stalling when it comes to offering updates on his plans for Glissade, but he’ll act like she needs to be patient.
Tucker will promise that Audra didn’t make a mistake by opening up to him and will share some passionate kisses with her.
After Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) speaks with Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) guidance counselor, she’ll feel encouraged by the strategies that are suggested to help him.
Chelsea will fill Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in at Society and point out the school recommended that they don’t come visit until parents’ weekend.
Adam will lash out and argue that Chelsea can’t call all the shots since they’re both Connor’s parents.
Although Adam will want to go reassure Connor now, Chelsea will snap that it’s not about Adam and will blow her top a bit as she accuses him of a bruised ego.
Chelsea will act like they can’t put the spotlight on Connor and make him feel even worse, so Adam will calm down and admit she’s right.
Adam will also explain that he was upset over Connor reaching out to Chelsea – not because of his ego, but because he feels like he let his son down.
Chelsea will reassure Adam about being a good dad, so the conversation will take a positive turn and leave Billy surprised as when finds them on the same page.
Adam will hope Billy knows he’s lucky to have Chelsea, so Billy will smile and confirm that he indeed knows.
