The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 22, reveals that Seth (Brian Gaskill) will meet up with Jordan (Colleen Zenk) at The Empty Glass, where he’ll thank her for the nudge she gave him to reconnect with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Although Seth will worry about Nikki thinking he’s a mess, Jordan will offer reassurance and act like it’s just wonderful that they’re back in touch.
Seth will contend that Jordan could patch things up with Nikki as well, but she’ll insist it’s too late and that her pain runs deep.
For now, Jordan will be content to live vicariously through Seth, so she’ll push him to keep the momentum going and ask Nikki out for coffee.
Seth will admit he got the feeling that Nikki was trying to stay close to the ranch and perhaps avoid temptation.
Jordan will suggest Nikki can’t survive living in a glass tower since that’s not real sobriety.
With that in mind, Jordan will hint that maybe Seth can be the one to bring Nikki out of her shell.
At the ranch, Nikki will be jumpy when Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) arrives.
Since Nikki won’t be able to stand feeling like a prisoner in her own home, she’ll beg Lauren to get her out of the house.
Lauren will reluctantly take Nikki to Crimson Lights, but she’ll make sure they have Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) security detail nearby the whole time.
While they’re chatting over tea, Nikki will open up about Seth’s visit and wonder who the mystery person from AA was who urged him to reach out.
It’ll baffle Nikki since she isn’t close with anyone else from the group.
At Newman Enterprises on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will sense that his father’s distracted, so Victor will admit he’s worried about Nikki since Jordan is still calling her.
Talk will turn to Adam’s idea of putting Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in charge of a design division, so Nick will warn that Adam could revert to his old behavior if he doesn’t get his way.
After Nick suggests granting Adam’s request would keep the peace, Victor will see his son’s perspective.
That said, Victor will urge Nick to make sure there’s also something in it for Newman Enterprises since business is business.
At Adam’s place, he’ll meet with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) as they debate the latest updates from Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) school psychologist.
There’ll be concerns about Connor possibly having OCD, so Adam will get Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) on the phone and summon her to help explain things.
Sharon will describe the intrusive thoughts that come with OCD and the rituals that people often create to cope with them.
However, Sharon will think it’s important to be patient and take things one step at a time since Connor hasn’t been officially diagnosed.
There’ll be other possibilities when it comes to what’s going on with Connor, so Sharon will try to reassure Adam and Chelsea in the meantime.
If Connor does have OCD, Sharon will feel confident that Chelsea and Adam will be able to handle it.
Later, Chelsea will meet up with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and relay the news about Connor’s potential OCD.
Since Chelsea won’t want to wait any longer to see her son, Billy will offer to drive her to Connor’s school this weekend.
At the GCAC, Sally will complain to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) about Adam going behind her back, but she’ll see the value in a Newman design division if it’s an option.
Chloe will argue that’s a big mistake and will remind Sally that Victor already pulled the rug out from under them once.
Sally will point out that Adam said he could protect them this time, but Chloe won’t like the sound of this at all.
When Adam arrives, Chloe will warn Sally not to make any major decisions yet and take off.
That’ll give Adam a chance to confide in Sally about Connor’s latest struggles, so she’ll give him a comforting hug.
Although Sally will still have a problem with the way Adam went about this design division situation, she’ll see the logic behind it.
Adam will be pleased when it seems like Sally’s coming around, but she’ll want to know if what he’s offering is truly possible.
Back with Victor, he’ll talk to Nick about his plan to simplify Jordan’s access to Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).
Victor will mention that he intends to pull some strings and get remanded into Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) custody.
Nick will question if it’s really a good idea to release Claire early and jeopardize her recovery, especially with Jordan on the loose.
Victor will argue that Claire’s doctors say she’s doing quite well – and Claire will have the option to return to the hospital if she needs to.
Nick won’t think Victoria is going to allow Claire to become bait for Jordan, but Victor will clarify that he just needs Claire to deliver his message about making amends.
Once Victor returns to the ranch, he’ll scold Nikki for leaving the property with Lauren, but she’ll argue that the desire to drink is stronger when she’s cooped up like she was at the lake house.
Nikki won’t think she can go on like this for much longer, but Victor will assure her that he’s about to put the second phase of his plan in motion.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor’s trap could lead to major trouble, so stay tuned for all the chaos!
