The Young and the Restless Recap: Thursday, March 7 – Nikki Panics as Victor Meets Jordan – Victoria’s Huge Loss

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 7, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will cry in her car as she watches her home go up in flames.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be in the passenger seat as a firefighter explains that they best they can do now is keep the fire from spreading to the woods. Since it won’t be safe in the area, Victoria and Victor will head back to the ranch.

Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will freak out over Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) fiery move, so she’ll be desperate for a drink.

Instead, Nikki will frantically push Claire to distract her, so Claire will tell a story about Nadia (Coco Nation) from the hospital.

Once Nikki calms down and thanks Claire, they’ll share a sweet moment as grandmother and granddaughter.

Nikki will also encourage Claire to consider a career that involves working with children once she’s fully recovered.

After Victoria returns home with Victor, she’ll get some comforting hugs from Nikki and Claire.

Nikki will think they should go to the press about Jordan’s latest actions, but Victoria will insist they can’t publicly accuse her of being an arsonist without proof.

Besides, that might encourage Jordan to resort to other wild behavior. Claire will acknowledge that Jordan is desperate like she has nothing to lose, so she could be more dangerous than usual.

However, that also means Jordan could be getting sloppy since she’s lashing out instead of spending more time calculating plans.

Victor will decide that he should convince Jordan to meet with him, but Nikki will worry about the threat she poses. Even so, Victor will feel confident that Jordan’s not going to get the upper hand.

At the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will find a troubled Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), so she’ll admit she had a strange dream where she was arguing with her siblings and Tucker was there trying to explain what they were saying.

Jack will hope Ashley told “dream Tucker” off, but she’ll admit she didn’t since Tucker was actually making sense.

That said, Ashley will feel like she was like somebody she didn’t even know in this dream.

Ashley will also confess to Jack that sometimes she knows she should be done with Tucker and other times she feels tempted to reunite with him.

Jack will warn that Tucker doesn’t deserve another chance, but Ashley will feel like she needs to sort through all this on her own.

Once Jack mentions Ashley’s psychologist friend in Paris, she’ll agree to give him a call.

While Ashley’s alone on Thursday’s Y&R episode, she’ll struggle with conflicting inner thoughts before seemingly snapping back into the sassier version of Ashley that’s been walking around lately.

Jack will return from the kitchen with pie, but Ashley will claim she wants to clear her head with a walk and will leave in a hurry.

At the GCAC, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will confront Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) in his suite and demand answers about whatever game he’s trying to play with Ashley.

Tucker will suggest maybe Ashley’s the one playing games, but he’ll admit he’s starting to not care anymore.

When Tucker asks what prompted this visit, Abby will admit Ashley was trying to get Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) to forgive Tucker.

Abby will notice Tucker’s suitcase at one point and hope it means he’s leaving town for good, but he’ll insist he’s just heading to Paris for a trip – part business and part pleasure.

After Abby makes it clear that Tucker needs to stay away from her whole family, she’ll warn him not to use it to his advantage if Ashley’s softening toward him.

If it turns out that Ashley is plotting some sort of revenge setup, Abby will support that 100 percent.

Regardless, Abby will warn that if Tucker makes another shady move, then he’ll regret it!

Once Abby exits, Tucker will flash back to some of Ashley’s weird behavior lately and struggle to make sense of it.

Downstairs, Abby will meet up with Devon and give him updates on her confrontation with Tucker.

Devon will basically assure Abby that he’s not signing up to get burned by Tucker again, so he won’t think she has to play protector.

As Devon and Abby are leaving, they’ll bump into Ashley at the door. Ashley will lie about getting off work late and coming for a bite to eat, so Abby will invite her over to their place.

Ashley will decline and opt to eat at the GCAC instead, so Abby will wonder if she’s really there for the food or if this is about Tucker.

After Ashley insists she’s not there for Tucker and sends the pair on their way, she’ll text Tucker in hopes of meeting ASAP and smirk as she gazes upstairs.

While panicking over Victor’s plan, Nikki will call Jack and admit she’s having a rough time.

Jack will promise to be at the ranch in 30 minutes, so Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will claim she understands – though she’ll actually seem pensive over all the rescue missions.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane will continue to fret over Jack spreading himself too thin, so stay tuned to see if bad news is brewing.
