The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 2, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will be talking at Society when they overhear Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) celebrating nearby.
Once Cole and Victoria join them to see what all the excitement’s about, Tessa and Mariah will explain that they just closed on their amazing new house.
Mariah will apologize once Tessa reminds her that Victoria just lost her own place, but Victoria will insist she’s happy for them.
After Cole and Victoria reflect on living at the tack house once upon a time, Tessa and Mariah will invite them over for some Champagne since they don’t move out for another three days.
At the ranch, Victoria and Cole will tell Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) that they’re going to take her where it all began for them, so she’ll head over to the tack house as well.
That’ll give Mariah and Tessa a chance to meet Claire, who’ll also spend some time holding Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) and once again prove she’s a natural with children.
At one point, Cole and Victoria will laugh over the time she locked him out of the house in the snow, so Claire will seem like she’s noticing some flying sparks between them.
Once the mini party breaks up, Victoria will wonder if Claire would like to live at the tack house now that it’s going to be empty.
Claire will fear that Victoria’s trying to get rid of her, but Victoria will clarify that she means they would live there together.
Victoria will add that Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) can join them once they’re home for spring break, so Claire will be excited about meeting her new siblings.
Afterward, Victoria will sit with Cole outside as they reflect on their trip down memory lane.
It’ll lead to Cole almost kissing Victoria, but he’ll ultimately pull away and decide he’d better head out.
However, Cole will admit that having Victoria in his life has changed everything – and he won’t want to go back to how things were before.
Later, Victoria will rejoin Claire, who’ll seem worried about Victoria and Cole putting their careers on hold for her sake.
Once Victoria makes it clear that they’re making up for lost time, Claire will hint that maybe something else is going on between Cole and Victoria based on the looks she saw between them earlier.
Victoria will acknowledge that being at the tack house with Cole stirred up some old memories, so Claire will assume she means from when they were happy and in love.
At Crimson Lights, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will want to see Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) contract since she won’t think it’s right for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to let a personal decision affect him professionally.
Daniel will initially seem wary of fighting his ousting from Omega Sphere, but Heather will help him see just how much this project meant to him.
Heather will think there may be a case of wrongful termination or at least a way to get control of Princess Louisa, the game that’s most meaningful to Daniel since it’s based on Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant).
At the jazz lounge on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will run into Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) who’ll offer updates on Daniel and Heather getting back together.
Phyllis will pretend she already knew about the reunion before Billy admits Heather and Daniel might be getting fired over it.
That news will outrage Phyllis, so she’ll text Daniel to set up a meeting.
Daniel and Heather will head over to the jazz lounge next, so Phyllis will learn they’ve officially been fired.
Billy will assure Heather and Daniel that he had nothing to do with that decision.
After Heather says she thinks Daniel should fight this and at least hold onto Princess Louisa, Phyllis will agree. Billy will back up that idea and push Daniel to do whatever he needs to do.
