The Young and the Restless Recap: Tuesday, April 23, Nikki Sneaks Off for Jordan Meeting, Dave’s Diner Tip

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 23, reveals that Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will convince Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to give Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) the number for Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) phone, so Nikki will leave Jordan (Colleen Zenk) a voicemail.

After Nikki rehashes everything that’s happened, she’ll insist she’s the one Jordan really wants to punish and will offer to trade herself for Claire as well as Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell).

Nikki will point out that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will pay any amount of money for his wife, so she’ll give Jordan the location for an alley and push her to meet there in an hour.

“Let’s end this one way or another,” Nikki will declare on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.

Once Nikki hangs up, she’ll fool Victoria and Cole into thinking she’s going to let Victor handle things from here.

At the main house on the ranch, Dave (Andre Hotchko) the delivery driver will finally admit Jordan approached him and somehow knew about his gambling debts.

Jordan offered Dave $10,000 for the use of his truck – $5,000 upfront and $5,000 afterward.

Victor, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will push for answers about where Dave met Jordan once the job was done, so he’ll reveal the location of an all-night diner that Kyle recognizes.

Kyle, Victor and Jack will step aside to discuss things privately, so they’ll determine that Jordan must be keeping Claire and Harrison near that location since she wouldn’t have wanted to leave her hostages alone for too long.

Victor will keep his word and vow to give Dave the $100,000 that he promised, but he’ll warn him to take the money and leave town after what Jordan did to Seth Morgan (Bryan Gaskill).

Victor will send his team to search the area around the diner – and Kyle will want to help by looking for any security cameras near where the truck was abandoned.

When Nikki returns, she’ll be cagey with Victor about where she’s going. Nikki won’t give Victor updates like she told Victoria and Cole she would, so she’ll end up in the alley alone waiting for Jordan to take the bait.

At Chancellor-Winters, Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) tiebreaker vote will stop Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) from returning to the board this soon, so that news will surprise Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and annoy Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James).

Next, there’ll be a vote about whether to fight Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) lawsuit, so Jill and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will want to avoid court.

Lily and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will vote to fight back against Daniel, so Devon will become the tiebreaker in this case.

After Devon votes with Lily and Abby, Lily will wrap things up and head out the door to her next meeting.

Billy will stop Lily to thank her for taking his side against Nate and will hope this means she’s interested in the partnership he pitched.

Lily will refuse to betray her family and won’t be convinced Billy’s powerhouse vision is the right one, but he’ll think that means she could still be convinced.

Billy will make it clear that he doesn’t intend to give up.

At Crimson Lights, Lily will meet with Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd), who’ll be upset to learn Lily’s vote kept Nate from rejoining the board.

Mamie will wonder if the situation with Daniel has been distracting Lily, but Lily will insist she’s perfectly capable of running this company separate from her personal issues.

After Mamie drops more hints about her idea of dividing Chancellor-Winters internally, she’ll contend that Jill, Billy and even Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) could get in the way of their own family’s future.

Lily will refuse to split the company down the middle, so Mamie will start ranting about how she can’t trust Billy. However, Lily will suggest that maybe Mamie is the one she can’t trust!

Back with Devon, he’ll admit to Abby that he was surprised by Lily’s vote against Nate. Devon will also confess his fear that Billy is privately working Lily, who’s always had a soft spot for him.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will keep hoping he can lure Lily fully to his side, so stick with us for more predictions on all the company conflict.
