The Young and the Restless Recap: Tuesday, April 9 – Ashley Frames Audra for Tucker’s Downfall – Cole Kisses Victoria

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 9, reveals that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will visit Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) office, where he’ll push her to remember how much Princess Luisa means to him.

Nevertheless, Lily will suggest it’s just another game that’s served its purpose since Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) forgave Daniel and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) is back in his bed.

When Lily stands her ground on owning Princess Luisa, Daniel will vow to sue Chancellor-Winters for wrongful termination and keep whatever he wants from Omega Sphere.

Lily will warn that Daniel’s contract is ironclad, but Daniel won’t be so sure about that.

After Daniel points out that Heather is representing him and rarely loses, he’ll tell Lily to get ready for a fight!

At the jazz lounge, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will worry about Daniel now that he’s been fired, but Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will eventually distract her with a dance.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will all arrive next to check out the venue for the upcoming anniversary bash.

That’ll lead to some awkwardness since Summer will clearly be uncomfortable around Claire, but Victor will pull Summer aside and give her a nudge when it comes to accepting Claire.

Meanwhile, Victoria and Cole will show Claire the photo of Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) on the wall and explain how he was ready to raise her as his own once upon a time.

Of course, Cole ultimately planned to step up for Claire as her father, but everything changed after they thought their baby girl passed away.

Later, Claire will enjoy watching Cole and Victoria dance while Chance takes Summer for another spin as well.

Although Claire will fret to Victor about Summer thinking she’s a monster, Victor will offer a prediction about her winning over her cousin.

As for Nikki on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, she’ll claim she’s going to powder her nose and will sneak upstairs to take a swig from her vodka bottle.

At home later, Nikki will drink behind Victor’s back again and tell herself to just get through this one sip at a time – at least until the party since she’ll plan to trap Jordan (Colleen Zenk) there.

After Cole takes Victoria and Claire to the tack house, Claire will seem disappointed about Summer’s view of her since she won’t want any enemies in the family.

Cole and Victoria will feel like Summer just needs more time to get to know Claire.

Once Claire heads up to bed, Cole will kiss Victoria outside the door – and she’ll kiss back after a moment of hesitance.

Back at the jazz lounge, Chance will admit he thinks Claire is trying hard to overcome her past and could use a friend.

It’ll leave Chance asking if it’s that hard for Summer to give Claire a chance.

In Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) mind, her alters will do plenty of bickering.

“Ms. Abbott” will warn “Ash” about blowing the plan, but “Ash” will fear Ashley could get blamed for what happens to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

However, “Ms. Abbott” will insist she’s got it all figured out and that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is going to take the fall.

Once “Ms. Abbott” puts “Ash” back to sleep, she’ll contend that Tucker will be gone for good soon and promise that Ashley will be safe.

After “Ms. Abbott” comes back out in the real world, she’ll fix her hair and wipe off the glossy lipstick that “Ash” put on.

In Tucker’s suite, Audra will reflect on Ashley’s desire to hurt Tucker and eventually realize she might’ve meant physical harm.

Tucker will just hope Ashley’s family can get her the help she needs.

Tucker will also try to tempt Audra with the engagement ring again, but she’ll act like they’re a nontraditional couple and suggest that getting married would destroy them.

At the Abbott mansion, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) that she’s terrified for Ashley due to her blackouts and missing memories.

Traci will work to convince everyone that this is serious right before “Ms. Abbott” walks in.

“Ms. Abbott” will seemingly realize an intervention is happening, so she’ll blast Traci for blabbing and lash out at the others for thinking she has some sort of condition.

When Tucker shows up next, “Ms. Abbott” will scoff and suggest that it’s just peachy since the gang’s all there!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley’s mental state will lead to some jaw-dropping news for Tucker, Audra and the Abbotts soon, so stay tuned for updates on all the mayhem.
