The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 20, reveals that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will confront Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) about her relationship with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and express confusion about her current motives.
Audra will insist they’re in love and not using each other, but Nate will feel confident Tucker’s going to break her heart.
After Nate suggests Audra’s mistaking fearlessness for recklessness, he’ll assume it’ll take getting burned to figure out the difference.
In Tucker’s suite, he’ll wonder what Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is doing there.
Ashley will admit that Tucker was right and she was wrong before clarifying that she’s talking about the fight in Paris.
Ashley will act like she’s ready to let all the pain and anger go – that she just wants to move forward in peace.
Tucker will seem skeptical of Ashley’s claims about an epiphany and will suspect she’s forcing herself to lie since this provides the cleanest break from him.
It’ll seem like Ashley is either brainwashing herself or setting Tucker up – at least that’s how Tucker will feel about it.
Ashley will eventually suggest that maybe they could see where things go and will urge Tucker to think about it as she leaves.
Downstairs, Ashley will approach Audra’s table to get something straight and will call her “little girl.”
After Ashley says this thing Audra has with Tucker isn’t going to last, she’ll make it clear that Audra isn’t in the same league.
Audra will think Ashley’s acting jealous and insecure, but Ashley will hint that the dynamic is changing. Once Ashley walks toward the door, she’ll touch Tucker’s arm as she leaves and put Audra on alert.
Audra will question Tucker about Ashley’s strange behavior and ask if he talked to her earlier, but Tucker will lie about this being the first time he’s seen Ashley this evening.
At Society, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will mention the good news Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was hoping to surprise her with, but he’ll be cagey about it.
When Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) arrives, he’ll stop by Adam and Sally’s table. There’ll be some tension as Victor bumps up a deadline and pressures Adam about a time-sensitive deal.
Sally will grow curious since she thought Adam and Victor were getting along, so Adam will eventually come clean about trying to make her Newman design division happen.
Adam will point out that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is on board, but Sally won’t appreciate him going behind her back and trying to control decisions about her business.
Despite Sally’s angry reaction, Adam will feel like she’s going to come around to the benefits of this arrangement once she mulls it over.
Adam will also lie that Victor didn’t nix the idea and that he just needs more time to think about it.
At the ranch on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Seth (Brian Gaskill) will accept a cup of coffee from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and admit he was in a bad way when he called her earlier.
Seth will talk about feeling guilty for letting Nikki down, but she won’t think he should blame himself for her decision to drink.
Nikki won’t think she should blame herself for Seth stumbling either since they’re responsible for their own choices.
Seth will be relieved over Nikki not holding him responsible and will understand that Nikki can’t be his sponsor. However, Seth will hope that they can at least be friends.
Nikki won’t be so sure that’s a good idea since they’re both struggling with their sobriety, but she’ll ultimately suggest she’s OK with having coffee together every once in a while.
At one point, Seth will mention he has another friend who wants to get sober and who encouraged him to reach out to Nikki.
That’ll lead to Nikki asking questions and figuring out this person is a woman who knew about him being Nikki’s former sponsor.
Seth won’t want to divulge her identity since she asked to remain anonymous, so Nikki will respect that.
After Seth parts ways with Nikki, he’ll text “Isabel” aka Jordan (Colleen Zenk) outside the ranch and thank her for giving him that nudge.
Jordan will still be at The Empty Glass when she gets updates on the visit going well and will seem pleased.
Back inside the ranch, Nikki will bring Victor up to speed on how things played out with Seth and will feel good about helping him.
