The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 6, reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have another meeting about Jordan (Colleen Zenk) since there’ll be some updates on the investigation.
Victor’s PI won’t think Jordan survived, but Victor will admit it’s going to take weeks to identify the found bodies through DNA testing.
Since there’ll still be six inmates unaccounted for, that means Jordan could be on the loose and hitchhiking her way back to Genoa City.
After Victoria and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) discuss the situation, they’ll decide to tell Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) what’s going on.
It’d be better than Claire finding out another way since that could ruin all the progress Cole and Victoria have made in the trust department.
Once Victoria and Cole explain everything, Claire will suspect that maybe Jordan set the fire herself since her great-aunt always said fire was the ultimate distraction.
Although Claire will express concern about Nikki and how she took the news, she’ll admit she’s not really scared of Jordan anymore – just angry and disgusted.
Claire will also put the blame on Jordan for manipulating her mind from a young age, so Cole and Victoria will be thrilled over her positive steps to healing.
In Nikki’s office, she’ll answer the landline phone in her office and hear silence on the other end. When it happens again, Nikki will snap at the mystery caller to leave her alone.
It’ll be obvious that Nikki’s worried about Jordan’s threat, so she’ll leave Newman Media and head to The Empty Glass using a rideshare. Victor will hear about Nikki’s dive bar trip through his security team, so he’ll rush after her.
Once Nikki slips in the bar wearing sunglasses, she’ll settle in at a table in the back. After Nikki gets drunk, she’ll see Victor questioning a bartender later and do her best to stay hidden.
In Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) office on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, he’ll pitch the idea of Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) temporarily stepping in as Nikki’s COO.
After Jack explains Nikki’s dilemma and convinces Lauren that she can handle this, Lauren will agree to let her staff take care of things at Fenmore’s without her for a while.
Jack will be pleased over Lauren getting on board with his solution, but then he’ll receive a troubling text from Nikki. It’ll be full of misspellings, so Jack will quickly realize Nikki’s had too much to drink.
Nikki will ask Jack to lure Victor someplace ASAP, so Jack will show Lauren the text and suggest Nikki’s left him no choice.
Once Jack gets Victor on the phone, he’ll push for an urgent meeting. Victor will insist he doesn’t have time, but he’ll change his mind when Jack says this is about Nikki.
After Victor tells Jack to be in his office in 15 minutes, he’ll exit the bar and leave Nikki looking relieved.
At Society, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will meet with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and ask her to be the new day manager.
Since Tessa’s modeling gig with Marchetti is a sporadic thing and she used to work at the restaurant, Abby will think this is a great idea.
Now that Abby’s going to be joining Chancellor-Winters’ board and pitching in with the day-to-day operations as much as she can, she’ll hope Tessa can help her out.
Although Tessa will need to talk things over with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) first, she’ll seem excited about the opportunity and will plan to let Abby know her answer tomorrow.
Abby will seem hopeful about this arrangement working out once she fills Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) in on how the meeting went.
At Newman Enterprises, Nick will notice Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is distracted, so he’ll invite his brother to open up.
Adam will visit GCAC’s bar with Nick for a drink, so he’ll confide about the situation with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and ask for advice.
After Nick praises Adam for listening to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), he’ll urge Adam to stay the course and trust Connor’s team at his school.
Nick will also suggest Adam should do some research on Connor’s learning difference and perhaps get Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) involved as a second opinion.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam and Nick will continue getting along, so it’ll be nice to see the Newman brothers on the same page!
