The Young and the Restless Recap: Tuesday, May 28 – Adam Asks Sally to Move In – Audra Accuses Stalker Tucker

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 28, reveals that Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will worry about Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and how he’s holding up considering everything he’s dealing with, including Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) mental health struggles.

However, Jack will assure Diane that he’s not feeling tempted to turn to pills or anything else that’s cause for concern.

When Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) overhears Jack and Diane talking about Ashley heading to Paris with Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins), he’ll immediately start quizzing them.

Jack will make it clear that it’s none of Tucker’s business, but he’ll admit something may have happened after Ashley’s fight with Tucker that triggered her issues.

When Tucker reveals that he’s headed to Paris as well, Diane and Jack won’t be happy about it.

Tucker will insist his business trip’s already booked and will plan on avoiding Ashley while he’s there.

Even so, Jack will fret to Diane after Tucker leaves since the sight of Tucker could trigger a setback for Ashley.

Once Tucker makes it back to his suite, he’ll get a video call from Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Audra will accuse Tucker of being a stalker, but Tucker will deny having anyone follow her.

Tucker will explain that he simply heard about Audra’s meetings with Glissade and the companies Glissade acquired through an employee, so he canceled them.

Since Audra’s done with Tucker, he’ll insist she’s also done with Glissade. Audra will warn that they’ll see about that before they disconnect.

At Crimson Lights, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will admit to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) that she needs to take a leave of absence from Marchetti for Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) sake, so Summer will totally support that decision.

Since Chelsea won’t want to leave Summer in a lurch, she’ll suggest Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) could fill in for her.

Summer will be hesitant due to her negative history with Sally, but she’ll thank Chelsea for trying to fix this and will agree to consider the idea.

Chelsea will realize something else is bothering Summer, who’ll tell her the whole ugly story about Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and how the Newmans have forgiven her for everything so easily.

Summer will obviously still have reservations, especially when it comes to letting Claire be Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) nanny.

Chelsea will completely understand that, but she’ll also acknowledge that the Newmans must see something in Claire that gives them confidence – and she’ll hint that maybe Summer will see that too someday.

At the Abbott house, Harrison will want Claire to stay for dinner, but she’ll think she should get home.

After Harrison says it was the best day ever and hugs Claire, she’ll hope they have even better days to come.

While Harrison is upstairs washing his hands, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will seem optimistic about Summer giving Claire a real chance since she wouldn’t have gotten Harrison’s hopes up if she didn’t mean it.

Summer will eventually come over and admit she hasn’t decided about the nanny job yet, but she’ll have some questions for Claire about what she’d do if she took on the role.

Claire will have some great answers based on all her research and will praise Summer along with Kyle for being wonderful parents, especially in the aftermath of everything that happened with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).

Summer will decide to officially offer Claire the nanny position, so Harrison will get updates once he returns and will embrace Claire as he celebrates.

When Jack and Diane come home, they’ll learn the new nanny news, too.

At Society, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will have dinner with Sally ahead of his trip to Connor’s facility in the morning, so he’ll give her a heads-up on suggesting her as Chelsea’s Marchetti replacement.

Sally won’t be mad about that on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, but she won’t have high hopes that Summer’s going to approve considering their history.

Once Adam takes Sally back to his place, they’ll make love before he asks her to move in with him.

Sally will need some time to think about it since it’s a big decision, so Adam will urge her to take all the time she needs.

That said, Adam will think they could be happy together there and will point out that Sally would have a place to call home.

After Sally dozes off, Adam will say head to the living room. Once Adam says a prayer for Connor and Chelsea, Sally will appear on the stairs in her robe.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will keep hoping for a bright future with Sally, so stick with us for predictions on how long their relationship will last.
