The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 17, reveals that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will take off to get Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) at Crimson Lights while Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) wait at the cottage.
On the coffeehouse patio, Sharon will pretend she’s sorry for lashing out at Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and his family.
Although Sharon will acknowledge her erratic behavior, she’ll act like she’s trying to get a grip on her emotions and do better.
Daniel will initially be relieved and talk about his guilt over Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) accident, but Sharon will struggle to concentrate since “Cameron Kirsten” (Linden Ashby) won’t think his pity party should change anything.
When Daniel brings up Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) idea to move away as a family, Sharon will think maybe they should do that.
“Cameron” will quickly scold Sharon for trying to get Daniel out of town to avoid doing what needs to be done.
Between the look on Sharon’s face and the edge in her voice, Daniel will eventually realize she can’t stand the sight of him.
Although Daniel will push Sharon to admit she still hates him, she’ll deny it and apologize for her behavior in front of Nick as he arrives.
Nick won’t really buy Sharon’s act and will mention that Faith’s going through some stuff, so Sharon will agree to go home with him and talk to her.
However, Sharon won’t want to leave her car, so she’ll insist on going back to the cottage separately.
Once Nick exits, “Cameron” will push Sharon to see that Nick’s tricking her and that she could end up back at Fairview. Daniel could also wind up moving away, so “Cameron” will push Sharon to take action NOW!
After Nick makes it back to the cottage, he’ll give Mariah and Faith updates on what went down at Crimson Lights.
It’ll leave Nick concerned that Sharon was trying to placate him along with Daniel and that she can’t win her fight against all the negative thoughts.
At Society, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will derail Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Newman-Abbott’s (Melissa Ordway) wedding planning to discuss some of the corporate changes lately.
Phyllis will quiz Devon and suspect that he’s trying to poach IT talent from Chancellor now that the company has separated from Winters.
In the park, Devon and Abby will sit under the stars as they continue planning their nuptials and bright future together.
In Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) office, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will make things awkward when she stops by with some oatmeal raisin cookies for him.
Since Billy took all the blame for their breakup when he talked to Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), Chelsea will point out that he didn’t have to do that.
Even so, Chelsea will be grateful to Billy for how much he cares about her son.
Although Chelsea will hope that maybe they can get back what they shared someday, Billy will make it clear that there’s no repairing what’s broken.
Chelsea will be sorry for hurting Billy, so he’ll accept her apology and express frustration with himself for being unable to forgive her.
Phyllis will eventually come along and interrupt, so she’ll offer some intel after Chelsea exits.
Billy will get news about the IT talent that Winters might poach along with Phyllis’ suggestion to lock in key players with contracts.
Although Phyllis will fish for info about Chelsea, Billy will make it clear that they need boundaries if she’s going to work there.
Billy will be willing to bring Phyllis on as his right-hand woman, but he’ll insist he’ll get the final call on everything.
After Billy asks if Phyllis can stay in her lane on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, she’ll agree to sleep on his COO job offer.
At the GCAC, Connor will tell Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about Billy blaming himself for his split from Chelsea, but he’ll suspect Billy was trying to protect him.
Considering the timing of Chelsea’s split from Billy and Adam’s split from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Connor will think there must be some connection and that something must’ve happened.
Adam will assure Connor that this had nothing to do with him and will note that he’s not giving up on figuring things out with Sally.
Although Adam and Sally were great together, Connor will suggest what Adam had with Chelsea was better and something more.
Chelsea will eavesdrop and mention what she overheard once she joins the table.
That’ll lead to Connor talking about how his parents are more comfortable with each other – especially Adam since he’s totally himself with Chelsea in a way that he’s not with Sally.
When Connor asks if Chelsea might work things out with Billy, she’ll acknowledge that Billy doesn’t want to and that it’s probably not going to happen.
Connor will get honest about his desire to be a united family with Chelsea and Adam again. Deep down, Connor will suspect Adam and Chelsea like it better that way, too.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea and Adam might have a romantic reunion ahead of them, so we’ll bring you more predictions on whether Connor will get his wish.
