The Young and the Restless Recap: Wednesday, January 10 – Claire’s Oregon Trip Deal – Audra Done with Both Kyle & Tucker

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, January 10, reveals that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will impress Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) with their presentation, so he’ll praise their teamwork and admit he’s been wanting this for a long time.

After Adam takes off, Victor will talk to Nick about the struggles Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are facing, but he’ll feel like stubbornness makes people fighters.

Victor will also stress the importance of his legacy and appreciate Nick’s willingness to cooperate, so Nick will assure his dad that he’s right where he’s supposed to be.

Meanwhile, Adam will find Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) at Society and point out that his presentation with Nick was a real hit with Victor.

Since Sally’s client canceled, she’ll let Adam know she’s free to have a celebratory dinner with him.

Victoria and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will also debate whether they should grant Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) request and arrange for her to visit Jordan (Colleen Zenk), who’s locked up in Oregon.

Cole will hint that maybe they should trust that Claire knows what’s best for her, but Victoria will fret over the potential for Jordan to do more damage – especially since Claire is so fragile.

In Claire’s room at the psych ward, she’ll have a nightmare involving Victoria and Cole’s furious reaction to her request.

In that terrible dream, Cole and Victoria will act like Claire’s awful for asking to see the woman who unleashed chaos on all their lives.

Victoria will eventually snap about Jordan doing them a favor when she kidnapped Claire so that they didn’t have to raise a monster like her.

Claire will call Victoria “Mom” and beg her to listen, but Victoria will angrily warn Claire to never call her that as she stomps off with Cole.

Once Claire wakes up startled, she’ll get a real visit from Cole and Victoria.

Although Victoria and Cole will grant Claire’s request, they’ll do it on the condition that they’ll come with her to see Jordan.

Claire won’t want Cole and Victoria disrupting their lives any more than they already have, but Cole will insist he can write his book from anywhere.

Victoria will admit she took a leave of absence from Newman Enterprises, which Claire won’t understand since Victoria loves her work.

However, Victoria will make it clear that family comes first.

Cole will try to help Claire see that this is how unconditional love works, but Claire will still seem hesitant to accept it.

As for the Jordan situation, Claire will agree to let Cole and Victoria travel with her, but she’ll have her own condition and will want to actually face Jordan alone.

At the Abbott mansion, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will admit to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is trying to make her question her sanity.

After Ashley explains how Tucker’s gaslighting her over the Paris trip, Jack will fume over Tucker’s mind games.

Ashley will appreciate Jack’s faith in her, but she’ll worry about the possibility that she’s wrong about how things played out at the café.

Of course, Jack will be convinced this is just more of Tucker’s manipulation since he hates to lose.

In Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) suite, Tucker will recover from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) socking him in the face and point out that he’s added another Abbott to his list of enemies.

Although Kyle will warn Tucker to accept defeat and back off, Tucker will insist he’s coming for all the Abbotts – and he’s going to thoroughly enjoy it.

Once Tucker exits, Audra will rip into Kyle for riling Tucker up even more.

Kyle won’t think Tucker’s all that menacing and will act like Audra’s just being Tucker’s cheerleader as usual.

As the confrontation winds down, Kyle will act like he’s finally seeing the real Audra and will think it’s too bad she doesn’t have the guts to think for herself. Audra will order Kyle out, so he’ll gladly agree to go.

Downstairs, Audra will find Tucker and get his gratitude for tipping her off about Kyle’s plan. Since Kyle screwed Audra over, she’ll suggest it was only fair to return the favor.

Although Audra will insist she’s done with Kyle for good, she’ll offer updates on her decision to cut ties with Tucker, too.

Audra won’t think Tucker’s keeping his promises – and she won’t approve of this lovesick revenge thing he’s got going on.

Tucker will try to protest, but Audra will insist she’s out and will ultimately walk away from him.

Once Ashley arrives on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, she’ll catch the end of Tucker and Audra’s argument.

As Audra’s leaving, Ashley will surprise her by requesting a conversation between the two of them.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley will have a lot to get off her chest, so stay tuned to hear the news she’ll spill.
