The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 27, reveals that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will discuss their upcoming meeting with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and worry about how things will go down.
After addressing the possibility that they could be fired, Heather will wonder if Daniel has any regrets about what’s happened between them.
Both Heather and Daniel will agree their reunion feels right, so they’ll promise they’re going to be OK and can find other jobs in town if need be.
Although Heather will offer legal help so that Daniel can stay in control of Omega Sphere, he won’t want that since he signed the contract that said he could be replaced.
Daniel will even consider the idea of resigning since it might be what’s best for everyone, but Heather won’t want him to give up the gaming platform that changed everything for him.
Nevertheless, Daniel started Omega Sphere as a way to clean up his act and win his family back, so he’ll suggest that maybe its served it’s purpose.
At Society, Lily will talk to Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) about the possibility of terminating Daniel and Heather’s employment, so Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will overhear and complain about being left out of this discussion.
Billy will eventually get updates on Lily’s breakup from Daniel, who reunited with Heather behind her back.
After Billy offers sympathy, he’ll warn against retaliating by kicking Heather and Daniel to the curb.
That could be a mistake that opens the door to lawsuits and proves short-sighted from a business standpoint.
Once Billy exits on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Devon will actually see his point, but Lily won’t agree and will act like her decision’s already been made.
After Lily stomps off, Devon will bring Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) up to speed, so Abby will think it’s indeed best if Daniel and Heather get fired or resign.
At Crimson Lights, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will sit down with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to discuss Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), who finally smiled again once he was back at Chelsea’s apartment.
However, Chelsea will point out that Connor has troubling behaviors that need to be addressed.
Although Adam will want a second opinion, Chelsea won’t want to waste time since it’s obvious Connor indeed has OCD.
After Chelsea pushes Adam to look at some info for a residential treatment center in Maryland, he’ll see that it actually looks like a beneficial place for Connor.
Once Billy arrives and comments on his approval of the facility, Adam will lash out over Billy being brought in the loop before him.
Adam will warn that this decision is strictly between Connor’s parents, so Billy will insist he understands that.
All Billy will want to do is support Chelsea – and he’ll hope Adam has someone to lean on as well.
After Adam confirms that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) gave him some helpful advice, he’ll cave on talking Connor into this residential treatment center and doing what’s best for him.
Chelsea will take Adam’s hands across the table in a sweet moment as they get on the same page.
Back with Daniel and Heather, they’ll be getting coffee ahead of their work meeting when Lily walks in.
Daniel will still be considering resigning, but Heather will want to resign instead so that he can hopefully keep running Omega Sphere.
Once Lily struts over with big news, she’ll announce that both Heather and Daniel are terminated – effective immediately. Lily will add that they’ll give Daniel and Heather a great severance package before insisting that’s the way it’s going to be.
Daniel will be sorry that this is the place that it’s gotten to, but Lily will snap that he should’ve thought of that before he betrayed her.
