The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) has been pretending everything’s fine on the phone and telling Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that he misses her, but he’s actually just biding his time until she’s in a better place to receive bad news.
Of course, Lily isn’t some delicate flower who’s going to fall apart because Daniel doesn’t want her anymore. This whole idea of protecting Lily by hiding Daniel’s betrayal doesn’t really make sense.
Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) ran down the list of all the difficult things Lily had been through like cancer, losing her parents, prison and other breakups.
Although Devon was highlighting his reasons for being protective, we’d say he just offered proof that Lily is a big girl and can handle getting dumped.
It’s doing far more damage for Daniel to sit on the cheating curveball instead. The fact that Devon is keeping the secret as well makes it even worse.
However, Lily will find out the truth eventually – and once that happens, she may get the last laugh!
Daniel is delusional enough to think he can still be friends with Lily once he tells her he’s getting back together with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
Maybe that would’ve been possible if Daniel had been honest about his feelings before he hit she sheets with his ex, but not now!
Lily’s surely going to want revenge, so she may start off by firing Heather from the job she just helped her get.
From there, it may be Daniel’s turn to face Lily’s wrath.
Since we know Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is headed back to Y&R, will it be Lily who arranges her return?
Lily might form a plan to shove Daniel out of his own gaming platform and let someone else run it without him.
Daniel may face a legal feud over control of Omega Sphere, but he’ll surely lose if Amanda is the one helping Lily with a legal strategy.
Assuming Lily will want her job back following her homecoming, perhaps she could put Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in charge of the gaming platform and give Daniel the boot.
Amanda could find the appropriate legal loopholes to make sure all this goes off without a hitch!
Since Amanda knows what it’s like to be cheated on, she may team up with Lily in solidarity and help her rise above the heartbreak.
If Lily wants to throw in a little payback for Devon somehow since he kept quiet, Amanda should get on board – especially after the way he betrayed her with Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway).
