The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is hoping Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will join forces on Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) destruction. If there’s anyone who hates Victor as much as Billy does, it’s Phyllis!
Although Phyllis may be skeptical about truly sinking Victor, she’s not one to back down from a challenge. It shouldn’t be too hard to convince Phyllis to go all in on a revenge plot against Victor soon enough.
However, this partnership could spell disaster for Billy’s new romance with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
As Billy and Phyllis spend time together, it could bring their old spark back and offer some temptation.
Of course, Billy isn’t in a committed relationship with Sally yet, but Y&R fans know they could be moving in that direction.
Sally might be headed for more heartbreak if she makes Billy her boyfriend and ultimately gets betrayed.
Billy himself knows the sting of betrayal all too well since he’s faced it multiple times over the years.
Most recently, both Billy and Sally suffered through the fallout of Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) Baltimore hookup.
Unfortunately, Billy isn’t immune when it comes to launching cheating scandals.
After all, Billy had an affair with Phyllis when she was married to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), so he was willing to repeatedly sleep with his own brother’s wife.
That proves how strong the pull was between Phyllis and Billy once upon a time.
Could that pull return and ultimately cause Billy to hurt Sally in the worst way possible?
We should note that when Billy really sizzled with Phyllis, Gina Tognoni was in the role.
Many fans aren’t seeing the same chemistry between Billy and Michelle Stafford’s version of Phyllis, but they could at least have a one-night stand.
Regardless, Billy’s love triangle with Phyllis and Sally is officially in the works.
Since we’ve got confirmation that it’s happening, that could open the door to Billy cheating on Sally somewhere down the line.
Will Sally regret getting together with Billy in the end? Will Sally fully give her heart to Billy and let him break it by betraying her with Phyllis?
