The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will have a loyalty test for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) during the week of July 29-August 2.
Since Devon doesn’t trust Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), he may still think he can convince Lily to come over to his side.
That may be part of what this loyalty test is all about, but Lily has made it clear that she’s all in on this partnership with Billy.
If Lily proves that to Billy, it could potentially stir up some old feelings between them.
After all, familiar sparks have seemingly already been flying with all the putting practice and brainstorming they’ve been doing at the office.
Plus, Billy is having some issues in his relationship with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Since Billy won’t think he’s getting the whole story from Chelsea about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and what happened between them, he’ll be frustrated.
Could all of this add up to the perfect storm and lead to Billy planting a kiss on Lily at the office?
Y&R spoilers say Billy will step out of bounds with Lily on August 1, so maybe he’ll let himself get swept up in a close moment with her.
Perhaps Billy will pull Lily into a lip lock and catch her off guard.
Of course, Lily might reciprocate that kiss, but they could both step back and realize it’s a mistake in the aftermath.
It’d be pretty comical if Billy ended up feeling terribly guilty and confessed this potential kiss to Chelsea.
Since Chelsea has done far worse in bed with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), there wouldn’t be much she could say about Billy’s betrayal!
Chelsea might actually feel a little relieved to know Billy had made a blunder of his own, so she could insist it’s no big deal.
Billy might even get more suspicious if Chelsea wound up being way too understanding about the whole thing.
Regardless, Billy will cross over into unexpected territory with Lily, so our predictions hint that a kiss could happen and add to the mess.
