The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chance's Corporate Job Flop - Returns to GCPD?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) feels like his career transition has been going well thanks to Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) mentorship. However, many Y&R fans out there may not agree!

Chance’s decision to leave the GCPD was an odd one considering there were no other on-screen cop characters in Genoa City.

They can always use day players, but it’s not the same as having someone like Chance investigate mysteries and show up when things get out of hand.

It might be different if Chance left the force for another exciting career path, but that’s not the case.

We barely see Chance at the Chancellor-Winters office – and when we do see him, nothing very important is really going on anyway.

The show has more than enough boring corporate executives, so there was really no need to throw Chance into the corporate ring, too.

Chance may think his career change has been a success so far, but it seems like a total flop you ask us.

Of course, there’s still time for Y&R writers to shift gears and correct this mistake. It’d be easy for Chance to play the hero in a scary situation that reminds him of when he used to protect and serve.

It might lead Chance to resume his work at the GCPD – either as the police chief again or back in the role of a detective.

It’d be nice to have Chance back in his cop career for any new drama that’s on the horizon.

This could also bring some new obstacles for Chance and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), who was deeply concerned the last time Chance was wounded in the line of duty.

If Chance has a change of heart and heads back to work as a cop, that could stir up major conflict with Summer.

Fear could take over Summer’s mind and lead to some clashing if Chance feels like she’s not being supportive.

Regardless, Chance deserves a better career than the one he’s got now. This whole corporate thing just isn’t a good fit, so let’s hope Chance can break free eventually.

Now that some upheaval’s happening at Chancellor-Winters due to Billy and Devon Hamilton-Winters’ (Bryton James) feud, maybe Chance will decide he didn’t sign up to get caught in the middle of all that.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chance’s future could come with some curveballs, so stay tuned for updates on any exciting news that might be looming.
