The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may find a new way to resist her destiny. Even Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) have been pushing the notion that Chelsea and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are meant to be together, but Chelsea is putting up a fight.
Of course, Y&R fans know Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is a big part of Chelsea’s reluctance to reunite with Adam.
It would make Connor happy temporarily, but he’d be devastated if Adam and Chelsea split up all over again.
Chelsea’s attitude has been pretty doom and gloom when it comes to any Adam-related romantic predictions.
As far as Chelsea is concerned, she’d be headed down a toxic road with Adam if they gave their relationship another chance.
However, Chelsea may be fighting an inevitable fate. Sally feels like somewhere deep down, Chelsea knows that Adam is who she’s meant to be with.
Even so, Chelsea may continue to drag her feet when it comes to giving Adam the reunion he’s been pushing for.
Since Billy isn’t an option anymore, Chelsea might find another guy to keep her busy and distracted from Adam temptation.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is likely headed for a breakup with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), so that could free him up for a Chelsea romance.
Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) could potentially use some comfort in the bedroom as well – though things could get messy since he’s still grieving Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and dealing with criminal charges.
A third option might be Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) half-brother, Damien, who could make quite a splash in Genoa City once Nate finds him.
Whatever the case, there are certainly other romantic possibilities for Chelsea to pursue besides Adam.
If Chelsea throws herself at another man to go against this Adam reunion idea, it may ignite Adam’s jealousy and leave him furious.
That said, it might also lead to a turning point where Chelsea finally decides she can’t fight what she feels for Adam any longer. Adam and Chelsea could get the reunion they’re destined for in the end.
