The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is a nervous wreck now that she’s fighting so hard to keep Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in the dark.
It’s been tough for Chelsea to cope with the secret she’s keeping with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) – and Y&R fans can tell Adam’s pressure to keep quiet isn’t helping!
It would certainly be better for Chelsea’s mental health if she’d just confess what happened and hope that Billy would understand.
If Chelsea had come clean from the get-go, Billy probably would’ve blamed Adam and might’ve been more forgiving of Chelsea’s part in the bedroom blunder.
However, this cover-up is making the situation worse and pretty much guarantees that Chelsea’s relationship isn’t going to last.
It’s just difficult to imagine Billy wanting to continue their romance after all this, so Chelsea will likely have to deal with a breakup after her cheating secret is exposed.
Of course, all this is happening on top of everything that’s already been going on with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Chelsea’s facing things that would be hard on anyone, but they’re particularly hard for her due to her history.
It wasn’t all that long ago that Chelsea was ready to end her life on a hotel roof. If it weren’t for Billy, Chelsea wouldn’t be alive today.
That’s why it’ll be even more painful for Chelsea when she loses Billy, who’s been a huge source of emotional stability for her all this time.
How will Chelsea react once that source of stability gets ripped away? Will Chelsea spin out again and start hearing all the negative voices inside her head?
Chelsea may not go as far as trying to end her life again, especially since she knows how much that’d hurt Connor.
That said, Chelsea might realize she’s fragile once everything blows up, so that could easily lead to her checking back in a psychiatric facility.
Chelsea may spin out and need more treatment, so we’ll bring you more predictions on Billy, Adam and Sally’s reaction if that happens.
