Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) seems like the perfect person to throw in the middle of all this, so let’s consider how that might play out.
At some point, Chloe might overhear something not meant for her ears.
It’s easy to imagine Chloe’s eyes bugging out as she listens in on Chelsea and Adam’s conversation about hitting the sheets in Maryland.
That could lead to Chloe confronting Chelsea and demanding answers.
On the other hand, maybe Chelsea’s guilt will become so unbearable that she just has to get this secret off her chest.
Either way, Chelsea could end up spilling her guts to Chloe and explaining how it all went down.
Of course, Chelsea could also promise that it’s never going to happen again and plead with Chloe to keep her mouth shut.
Chloe could find herself torn since she considers both Chelsea and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to be good friends of hers.
Part of Chloe would certainly want to tell Sally about Adam’s betrayal so that she could finally be free of him.
At the same time, Chelsea is someone who’s already suffered severe mental health struggles.
We’re talking about someone who felt so helpless and depressed that she nearly ended it all on The Grand Phoenix rooftop.
Plus, Chelsea has already been dealing with Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) OCD drama, so Chloe might worry about Chelsea’s mental stability if she loses Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
How would Chloe feel if she was responsible for exposing the truth and that led to Chelsea’s next mental health crisis?
Chloe would never forgive herself if Chelsea ended up back on that rooftop trying to end her life again.
That might be enough to convince Chloe to keep her mouth shut, but it would be tough for her to let Sally move forward romantically with Adam after his cheating blunder.
Our predictions point to Adam and Chelsea’s secret leaking eventually, so will Chloe be the one who gets updates on that shocking news?
