The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are growing closer every day – especially now that they’ve decided to become an official couple. Although Claire feels like her life is pretty much perfect, that also makes it the ideal time for everything to suddenly get thrown into chaos!
There are several paths that Y&R could take to achieve that.
With Jordan (Colleen Zenk) lurking and determined to go after Claire with Ian Ward’s (Ray Wise) help, it’s possible she could resort to secretly poisoning or drugging her.
After all, Jordan relied on poison for her plots in the past – and more recently, Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) pills were tainted with PCP.
It’s easy to imagine Claire becoming a target next and seemingly developing some strange symptoms.
It might seem like some mystery illness at first that gives Kyle a reason to worry about his new girlfriend.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) could have some concerns as well if Claire starts exhibiting some weird behavior on the job.
We could certainly imagine Jordan trying to make Claire sick or at least trying to make it look like she’s becoming unhinged.
Jordan might try to get Claire sent back to the psych ward and force her to lose the lovely life she’s created for herself in Genoa City.
Of course, there are other options if Y&R wants to do a mystery illness storyline for Claire.
Perhaps Claire could start dealing with some nausea and fainting spells.
We all know what that would mean considering Claire has taken the next step in the bedroom with Kyle!
Claire might end up pregnant with Kyle’s baby and have to deal with her life getting turned upside down in a completely different way.
Regardless, Claire and Kyle can’t stay in this blissful bubble forever.
