The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) last attempt to support Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) ended in disaster. Although Victoria tried to get through to Claire and help her see a path forward, Claire doesn’t think she’s worthy of happiness.
Claire also doesn’t want to open herself up to the heartache of learning to love her parents and then losing them.
From Claire’s perspective, it’s just a matter of time until Victoria and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) look at her with disdain again.
Claire feels she’s too broken for a family, so she pushed Victoria to leave and never come back.
Since Claire also said she’d tell the staff to ban Victoria’s visits, that’ll present a major hurdle when it comes to mother-daughter bonding.
As a result, Victoria may have to get creative if she wants to reach out to Claire once more.
Perhaps Victoria could have another conversation with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and ultimately seek her help.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) already told Sharon that he wished she could be Claire’s therapist, so maybe that wish will come true.
Although Memorial Hospital’s psych ward has plenty of qualified professionals who can work with Claire, they can’t give the situation the personal touch that Sharon can.
Sharon might agree to pay Claire a visit and encourage her to open her heart to the love that Victoria and Cole are offering.
Of course, this would be a great opportunity for Sharon to talk about her own experience with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and how she found her later in life.
There was a time when connecting with Mariah seemed impossible, but now Sharon couldn’t imagine her life without her.
Mariah grew up in a cult and made criminal mistakes of her own, but she was able to heal and create a normal life for herself in Genoa City.
Sharon might open up about building a bond with Mariah, who was eventually able to break free from her past and develop a real relationship with her mom.
At some point, it’d be nice if Claire and Mariah could become friends considering the similarities in their Y&R storylines.
For now, Claire needs a therapist she can connect with, so stay tuned for updates on whether Sharon will step up and help her.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will refuse to give up on Claire and will hope for some good news soon.
