The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) was recently arrested and is facing some serious charges. If everything goes according to plan, Jordan will be convicted in court and sent to prison for a very long time.
Of course, fans have learned by now to expect the unexpected when it comes to Jordan! Since Jordan is such a slippery character, she may pull off one last getaway.
There must be a reason why Y&R writers kept Jordan alive, so we can probably expect a dangerous comeback sooner or later. Jordan may give prison guards the slip or even escape during some sort of transport fiasco.
Whatever the case, it seems likely there’ll eventually be at least one more chance for Jordan to wreak havoc.
When Jordan was taken into police custody, there was a lot of emphasis on how she’d never get near Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) or hurt her ever again.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) made that promise, but Jordan may force her to break it by targeting Claire when the time is right.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) could also land in grave danger – especially once she connects with Claire and forms a real mother-daughter bond. Jordan may want to destroy that connection and potentially end both their lives.
It’d be a great way to blow up the Newman family, but Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) might get an opportunity to step up and be a protective dad. The show’s definitely been highlighting Cole’s affection for Claire and how much he wants to make up for lost time.
If Cole and Victoria reconnect romantically in the coming months, that’d really raise the stakes if Cole puts his own life on the line. It’s easy to imagine a scenario where Cole sacrifices himself to save Victoria and Claire.
Although Cole is sticking around for a while, that doesn’t mean he’s a permanent addition to the show.
Down the road, Cole might get a fatal exit or at least end up in a long-term coma depending on how things go down with vengeful Jordan.
There’ll surely come a day when it’s time to write Cole off the canvas, so could he go out with a bang? Will Cole play the hero against Jordan and face a grim fate for it?
