The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers imply what’s old is new again in the land of Genoa City! Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) is once again embroiled in a love triangle between Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Summers), the same song and dance that these three did back in the 1990s. Still, it’s a little different this time.
Phyllis and Danny have reached a nice level in their co-parenting relationship, and they’ve become close friends, while it’s clear the rockstar is very interested in a romantic reunion with Christine.
With that being said, when Phyllis reached in for a kiss some weeks back, Danny’s initial reaction was to kiss back. He may be a bit confused in his feelings for both women.
Danny admires how Phyllis has tried to turn her life around, so there may be some attraction there, but at the same time he truly wants to make things work out with the “love of his life”.
But there’s a bigger story developing aside from Danny’s feelings. Phyllis is slowly, but surely, reverting to her old schemer ways, while Christine isn’t exactly playing a clean game, either.
During the holiday season when Phyllis was inside Society and Danny met up with Christine and she was quick to shoot a smug smile Red’s way while hugging the rockstar.
Christine also tossed out a white lie to Phyllis recently when talking about the weekend getaway she and Danny had planned, claiming it was his idea when it was really hers.
While Danny isn’t out of the loop when it comes to the animosity the two women share, he is when it comes to their tactics.
He’s been trying his best to keep the peace between his exes, but once he finds out that Christine has been lying about things, and figures out that Phyllis is back to playing games, will the rivalry between the two women and constant, back-and-forth drama have him rejecting both ladies and heading for the hills?
Things will get way worse between the ladies before it gets better.
Young and the Restless spoilers note that Danny is said to be in town for an “extended” run, this time around, but does that mean years or just a few more months than he usually stays?
Could Danny decide to give up on any romantic notions with either Phyllis or Christine, and just leave town to go on tour, with both women bitter and broken hearted?
