The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 16, reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will create more conflict at Chancellor-Winters – presumably by bringing up the name change that he suggested to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Billy initially thought Abbott-Winters would be a more appropriate name for the company, but Chelsea steered him away from that idea.
Even so, Billy feels like the Abbotts deserve a little acknowledgement since Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) still bears that name – and so does Billy.
Since Billy’s second option was ACW for Abbott-Chancellor-Winters, that may be what he pitches to Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) on Friday’s Y&R episode.
Of course, Devon may act like Billy is being ridiculous and trying to exert power that he doesn’t really have.
This might be a good time to remind Billy that he’s only filling in for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) temporarily since he wants to call all the shots.
That said, Devon intentionally excluded Billy from an important meeting and hasn’t been listening to Billy’s proposals.
It’s easy to see why Billy would be annoyed, even if this name change seems like a dumb way to handle his frustrations.
This whole storyline feels like a rehash of what happened with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) since Devon always thinks he knows best and power-hungry Billy is pushing back due to being disrespected.
While Billy stirs the pot and gets Devon riled up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will track Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) down for an interrogation.
Once Victor gets updates on Jack’s latest meeting with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), he may demand to know exactly what they discussed.
As Nikki’s AA sponsor, Jack may not like the idea of giving Victor a play-by-play of their private discussions. Perhaps Jack will push Victor to get all his news from Nikki instead.
However, Victor may think they have to throw the rulebook out the window since stopping Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) reign of terror is the priority.
Will Jack fill Victor in on Nikki’s phone conversation with Jordan or will Nikki tell Victor herself?
Nikki may not have the chance if Jordan puts her latest plot in motion first.
Jordan obviously intends to use Seth (Brian Gaskill) to her advantage somehow, so we’ll see if they’ve been working together all along or if she’s about to turn him into her new pawn.
Either way, Seth will become a key player in the next phase of this storyline, so Nikki may receive word from Jordan about some danger that he’s landed in.
Jordan might warn Nikki to come alone for another confrontation or else Seth won’t make it out of this mess alive!
As for Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), it seems likely Jordan will call her again at some point since Victor predicted it.
Claire may relay Victor’s message as promised and hope the takedown plan pays off.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will go into mama bear mode and vow to defend Claire no matter what.
It’s clear that Victoria has a bad feeling about Claire’s involvement in all this, so we’ll see if her hunch proves correct.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jordan’s feud with the Newmans is about to soar to new heights, so stay tuned to Y&R.
