The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 9, reveal that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will dig her heels in with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Y&R fans know Ashley’s trip to Paris didn’t turn out like she expected since the waiter corroborated Tucker’s story.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) later asked some other witnesses on the waitstaff and learned they remembered an average fight as well.
It seemingly wasn’t the monstrous scene Ashley made it out to be, but Ashley is having a hard time believing that her memories are wrong.
Friday’s Y&R episode will bring yet another confrontation with Tucker, so Ashley may be back in Genoa City to face off.
Ashley might stick to the idea that Tucker threw bribes around and is now doing whatever he can to make her seem crazy.
Regardless, it’s clear that Ashley has become obsessed with this café fight, so stay tuned for updates on whether she can find some way to get past her fixation.
Over with Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters), she’ll deal with some difficult emotions as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) continues to step up for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)
Diane may find herself feeling jealous and disappointed if Jack has to bail on romantic plans.
Since Jack has been supporting Nikki so much lately, it’ll leave Diane fuming over their connection and perhaps worried that her own bond with Jack can’t keep his attention.
The fact that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) relented on Jack being Nick’s sponsor could be another cause for concern – at least from Diane’s perspective.
Diane might feel like Nikki’s going to spend even more time with Jack now that they don’t have to do it in secret.
The green-eyed monster will come out for Diane, so she may struggle to hide her jealousy from Jack as this storyline progresses.
Next, Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd) will have a strategy session with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), so she’ll have plenty of opinions about his role at Chancellor-Winters and what should happen moving forward.
Of course, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was offended recently when Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and Nate excluded him from an important meeting with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
If Billy realizes Nate’s strategizing with Mamie now, that could also spell trouble – especially since Mamie is Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) enemy.
Billy may become increasingly suspicious of any plotting that might be going down, so we’ll see if he speaks up and voices growing fears.
