The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, January 26, reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have a lot on her mind, so she may realize Jordan (Colleen Zenk) has damaged Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) fragile psyche again.
An orderly believed Jordan’s claims about being Claire’s mother, so she handed Claire a phone and assumed Victoria was on the other end of the line.
Claire freaked out after talking to Jordan and could easily display some alarming warning signs on Friday’s show.
Victoria might get news on what happened and try to comfort her daughter, but Claire may seem distant and start pulling away once more.
Whatever the case, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will find Victoria in distress, so he’ll invite her to open up.
Although Nate and Victoria’s romantic relationship didn’t work out, he’s assured her that he’ll always listen as a friend.
Victoria will definitely need Nate’s comfort on Friday’s Y&R episode, so it sounds like she’ll crumble in front of him and get some support.
Over with Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters), she’ll goad Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) a bit – perhaps after witnessing a close moment between Nikki and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Although Diane will understand Jack’s desire to be there for Nikki during her alcoholism struggles, she may mark her territory just in case.
Regardless, Jack won’t approve if he realizes Diane is trying to get under Nikki’s skin, so he may urge her to cut it out.
Nikki has more than enough on her plate, so Jack may think Diane should try to be more understanding of his ex’s issues.
Speaking of ex issues, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is dealing with plenty of those since she feels like Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is gaslighting her about what played out in Paris.
It’s making Ashley doubt what she previously knew to be true, but she hinted about a way to get to the facts.
Something like hypnosis could help Ashley sort out what’s in her mind, but that wouldn’t be an impartial account of what happened.
It’d still be a case of “he said, she said,” so Ashley needs another take on this situation.
Ashley’s best bet would be to track down security footage and get undeniable proof of what really went down.
There might at least be an eyewitness on the waitstaff – perhaps someone who recognized Tucker and Ashley from their roles in the business world and paid close attention to the loud argument.
Regardless, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will embrace Ashley’s new strategy and show some faith in her sister, so she’ll try to help Ashley get to the bottom of things.
