The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 24, reveal that Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will find himself in a tricky situation. Since we know Cole will face a difficult choice, this may be about whether he’ll come clean to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about the plan that’s in motion.
Cole and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will hope to send Jordan to an actual prison behind Victor’s back, but will Cole tell Victoria about the scheme or leave her out of the loop until they pull it off?
Whatever the case, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will get some surprise visitors on Friday’s Y&R episode.
Could Victor’s unexpected guests be part of a diversion – one to keep Victor busy while Michael and Cole get Jordan off the premises undetected?
That’s one option to consider, but it’s also possible the cops will show up to investigate after Jordan’s apprehended.
Cole and Michael are hoping that no one will believe Jordan, but the police could still look into any claims she makes about Victor’s dungeon.
Of course, there’s another troubling option to mull over here.
If Michael and Cole’s plot goes horribly wrong, they could lose control and inadvertently let Jordan escape!
Regardless of how it all turns out, Victor won’t be happy about the news that Cole and Michael have secretly derailed his own plans for Jordan.
Over with Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), she’ll approach Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and deliver a heartfelt plea.
Claire will once again acknowledge her past mistakes, but she’ll be looking for a chance to prove she’s a changed woman.
Although Claire gets why Summer is so protective of Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell), she also really wants the nanny job and will try to change Summer’s mind.
Claire has definitely been diving deep into child development research and may open up to Summer about that.
As Claire talks about what she’s learned, she may urge Summer to see that her enthusiasm is genuine – just like her concern for Harrison.
Harrison and Claire bonded thanks to all the Jordan terror, so he could use someone to help him work through the aftermath.
After Claire’s speech and maybe some pleading from Harrison as well, Summer may see the value in at least hiring Claire on a trial basis.
If so, Claire may make a prediction on this turning out great and promise that Summer won’t regret it.
