The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) has been struggling at school, so he’s feeling frustrated and impatient right now. Connor has been pretty down on himself and just hasn’t been in the best frame of mind.
Although Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) tried to stay positive on the phone with Connor, he may continue on this downward spiral.
Since Connor has been known to disappear before, we wouldn’t be surprised if he vanished from school and caused some shocking news to spread.
It could lead to Adam and Chelsea going into panic mode as they try to figure out where Connor is now.
Of course, Chelsea might immediately assume that Connor tried to run away from his problems, but Adam might have a different fear.
Since Adam’s been so concerned about Jordan (Colleen Zenk) targeting the Newman family again, he might suspect Connor has become her next victim.
Connor is Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) beloved grandson, so it wouldn’t be unreasonable to think Jordan would want to snatch him. It’d be interesting to see Jordan find some new ways to make Victor pay!
However, Adam’s theory might turn out to be wrong if Connor’s indeed a runaway or there’s just some confusion over a school trip.
Jordan may be too fixated on tormenting Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to deal with any Connor kidnapping drama, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Regardless, Adam could worry if Connor is unaccounted for while Jordan’s still out there somewhere.
It’d be a good way to tie Adam’s story in with the rest of the Newmans and make him feel a little more connected to all the mayhem.
Fortunately, we know Connor has some Y&R scenes coming up with Adam and Chelsea in the not-too-distant future, so they’ll have a chance to reconnect as a family and make sure Connor gets on a better path.
No matter what story twists might be brewing for Connor, he’ll be safe in the end and can hopefully get the help he needs with his studies.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will keep stepping up as a good father, so stay tuned for updates on how he’ll work together with Chelsea for Connor’s sake.
