The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is already dealing with Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) temper tantrum and all the drama that’s resulted from that, but more stressful situations are on the horizon.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has recruited Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to run Newman Media again because he needs someone who’s willing to go after Jabot.
As part of Victor’s plan to make Glissade successful, Newman Media has to tear down the competition – including Jack’s family business.
Of course, all this is really about Victor’s disdain for Jack and the desire to make his rival pay for putting Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) at risk.
Although Adam respects Jack and isn’t thrilled about targeting him like this, it looks like he’ll ultimately accept Victor’s offer and slide back into the Newman Media CEO spot.
However, Adam will drive a hard bargain and may have some stipulations sooner or later.
To ease his own conscience over hurting Jack, Adam might set some limits when it comes to how dirty he’s willing to play.
Even so, Jack will inevitably feel betrayed once Adam uses Newman Media to attack Jabot.
At some point, Jack may confront Adam about falling in line with Victor’s demands, but Adam may shrug it off as just business.
Jack surely won’t agree since things are as personal as it gets when it comes to Jabot – the company that his family built.
You can bet Jack won’t appreciate Adam’s role in trying to tear it all down, so how will he get his revenge?
We can think of one way that would tie in Jack’s brief romantic history with Sally Spectra (Coutney Hope) since he came to care for her once upon a time.
What happens if Jack finds out Adam cheated on Sally?
That’s something Jack might want to expose anyway just for Sally’s sake, but he’ll be especially motivated to do it following Adam’s actions at Newman Media.
Jack might overhear Adam talking to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) about their hookup or even confiding in someone like Victor about that night.
Whatever the case, Jack could discover this secret and either tell Sally himself or give Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) a scandalous scoop to expose!
