The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) won’t be able to keep Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) out of the loop for much longer. Nikki has secretly been relying on Jack as her new sponsor, but she doesn’t want Victor to have any inkling about that.
Victor will arrive at Nikki’s office door while she’s inside with Jack on the January 29 episode, but he won’t find out what’s going on just yet.
Of course, Jack won’t like all the deception and will think this close call proves Nikki needs to confess.
If Jack and Nikki get caught, he’ll know it’ll get a worse response than if Nikki just comes clean to Victor about what’s going on.
Unfortunately, Y&R spoilers say Nikki won’t listen – and sure enough, Victor will catch Nikki and Jack together on February 2.
At that point, it looks like Nikki will finally explain the situation, so Victor may reluctantly agree to let her have whatever sponsor she feels is best, even if it’s Jack.
However, Victor won’t be pleased when he’s forced to watch Jack constantly coming to Nikki’s rescue.
Since Jack is becoming Nikki’s new hero lately, will he step up for her when Jordan (Colleen Zenk) resurfaces, too?
Jack could have a surprise showdown with Jordan, who’ll manage to score her freedom again after making a fiery exit from her prison facility. If Jack is the one to save Nikki’s life the next time around, Victor may have some mixed feelings.
Naturally, Victor will be grateful to Jack if he saves the day. The important thing will be keeping Nikki safe, so Victor might end up owing Jack a debt of gratitude.
That said, Victor may also feel a little disappointed if he’s not the one to protect his own wife.
It could fuel Victor’s conflict with Jack despite him being thankful – and it could lead to trouble in Victor’s marriage to Nikki as well.
That’s especially true if Jack and Nikki were to share an unexpected kiss in the heat of the moment.
It’s easy to imagine Nikki locking lips with Jack during all the Jordan chaos, but they could blame it on all their adrenaline and exploding emotions.
Whatever the case, Jack might face off with Jordan if he lands in the right place at the right time to protect Nikki.
