The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) would love to recruit Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and convince him to join the team at Newman Enterprises. It’d be a great way for Victor to really stick it to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) when it comes to the takedown that’s brewing.
Victor plans to come at Jack from multiple angles – and if all goes well, he’ll do just that by using both Newman Media and Glissade against Jabot.
Since Kyle is looking for more power and has become fed up with working under inexperienced Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters), he might jump ship and join Victor’s side.
Of course, Victor will have to make it worth Kyle’s while.
Kyle probably doesn’t want to play second fiddle in a COO spot again, so Victor will have to keep that in mind when it comes to any formal offer he might make.
In the June 14 episode, Victor hinted that Newman was always looking for bright executives like Kyle, but he’ll have to get specific about the details if he truly wants Kyle to join forces with him.
Could Glissade turn out to be the perfect place for Kyle? It’s a cosmetics company, so Kyle would certainly know what he was doing over there.
Victor already has a partnership with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), who thinks she’s outsmarted Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) by finding a way to become the company’s CEO.
However, there’s no guarantee Audra will be Glissade’s sole leader.
What if Victor blindsides Audra by insisting Kyle should have co-CEO status and bring his own expertise to the table?
Audra would no doubt object to sharing power with Kyle, but Victor may not give her a choice! It’s often Victor’s way or the highway on this show, so Audra may have to suck it up and try to be professional.
Victor might get the board to back him up based on Kyle’s Jabot experience since he could be genuinely helpful.
Will Audra and Kyle become Victor’s new Glissade power duo?
Could that lead to some messy feelings reigniting or will Kyle remain fixated on Claire Grace (Hayley Erin)?
