The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been trying to plant seeds of doubt for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Since Victor can tell that Kyle doesn’t like working under inexperienced Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters), he’s been highlighting that fact and mentioning the possibilities at Newman Enterprises.
Victor no doubt hopes to turn Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) own son against him and get some assistance with Jabot’s takedown.
Who better to help ruin the company than an Abbott who knows all the ins and outs?
This could be an extremely beneficial partnership – but only if Kyle can truly turn his back on his family!
Kyle has been fed up with the circumstances at Jabot before, so he was tempted to betray the Abbotts through a partnership with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
However, Kyle ultimately spilled Tucker’s plans to Jack and played the hero instead. Kyle could be gearing up for a similar storyline depending on how things play out with Victor.
At some point, Kyle might tell Victor that he’s ready to join the team at Newman, even if it means plotting against Jabot.
Perhaps Kyle will insist he’s done with the treatment he’s received in the family business and wants to help a company that will actually appreciate him.
Victor might put Kyle through a bit of a loyalty test, but Kyle could pass it if he’s smart enough.
That’s especially true if Kyle comes clean to Jack about what’s going on and offers to be a mole.
Kyle could pretend he’s teaming up with Victor while still helping Jack behind closed doors.
Maybe Kyle will strike a deal where he agrees to sabotage Victor’s scheme against Jack and help his dad destroy Victor instead.
Of course, Kyle will want something in exchange if he’s going to cross over into enemy territory and risk Victor’s wrath.
What if Kyle agrees to do all this – but only if Jack will give him Diane’s co-CEO job once his mission is complete?
