The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) was horrified when she got updates on all the despicable things Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) did while in cahoots with Jordan (Colleen Zenk).
It was shocking for Summer to find out Claire lured Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to the lake house, where Nikki was pumped full of vodka against her will.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) also got tangled up in the mess that could’ve cost them their lives.
Claire wasn’t the ringleader, but she was still part of setting Jordan’s trap and has caused tremendous turmoil for the Newman family.
It’s understandable that Summer would be flipping out since she just now got the full story.
Once Summer received the real scoop, she made it clear to Kyle that Claire wasn’t nanny material.
As far as Summer’s concerned, Claire should never babysit Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) or ever be alone with him.
Claire was sent to recover at the psych ward, but Summer obviously doesn’t view her as someone stable or trustworthy.
Now that Summer is taking such a strong stance on this Claire ban, there’s a good chance Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will go against it.
Of course, Kyle may not exactly mean to defy Summer’s wishes at first.
It could be a situation where Kyle and Harrison run into Claire while she’s on another outing somewhere around town.
Victoria might take Claire to Society and step away for a discussion with someone – leaving Claire to hang out with an excited Harrison when he enters with his dad.
Perhaps Claire, Harrison and Kyle could all sit down together – just in time for Summer to walk in and blow her top!
Summer might catch Kyle allowing Harrison to bond with Claire again and speak her mind once Harrison’s out of earshot.
It’s easy to imagine Summer angrily warning Claire away from Harrison and causing some conflict.
Victoria might rush to Claire’s defense – and even Kyle might argue that Summer’s being unfair since Jordan manipulated Claire for all those years.
This could be the start of Claire driving a major wedge between Kyle and Summer as co-parents.
Naturally, it could also lead to Kyle opening his heart to Claire romantically, so that could infuriate Summer even more.
Our Y&R predictions point to Claire and Kyle becoming a couple somewhere down the line, so stay tuned for any news on their road to romance.
