The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, December 2, reveal more drama’s on the way, but we should talk about a programming note first. Due to sports coverage, Y&R will be preempted on Thursday, November 28 – and there’ll be one more preemption on Friday, November 29.
The show will be back with a brand-new episode once Monday gets here, so we’ve got details on what you can look forward to.
For starters, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will continue to settle into her leadership position at Chancellor – and she’ll hope to help Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) feel welcome as well.
Claire has agreed to come work for Nikki again, so this will give them an opportunity to do some family bonding on the job.
Of course, it’ll be the calm before the storm since Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is up to no good and will soon be targeting the Newmans once again.
In the meantime, let’s talk about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and some secrets he’ll be keeping under wraps.
Victor will hide some strategies and could leave a few Genoa City residents suspicious about what he’s up to.
Even if Nikki grows concerned about another round of conflict between Victor and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), she may be too busy with her Chancellor duties to investigate too much.
As for Jack, he’ll have some power plays of his own in the works – perhaps some that Victor won’t see coming!
Jack and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will make some updates to their tactics in the coming episodes, so stay tuned.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) also pitched Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) on the idea of teaming up on Victor’s takedown, but that’ll have to wait.
Phyllis will have a different project to tackle first, so look for her to join forces with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) as they seek some answers.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) should get flustered once both Summer and Phyllis get in her face.
It turns out Sharon will deal with an interrogation, so Phyllis and Summer may want more details following her confession to the cops.
Summer and Phyllis may use this as another chance to slam Sharon for eliminating Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and trying to pin the crime on Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
Sharon has also been accused of running Phyllis off the road, but Phyllis recently had a memory flash that may have opened her eyes to a new possibility.
If Phyllis now recalls another car swerving toward her that night, she may ask Sharon questions hoping that maybe she’s remembering this wrong.
It’s clear that Phyllis wants Sharon to go down for everything – including causing this crash – but she may ultimately have to accept there’s more to the story.
Sharon may swear that she didn’t have her phone when those texts luring Phyllis to the cottage were sent.
Whatever the case, Y&R fans know Jordan and Ian Ward (Ray Wise) are the real culprits behind Heather’s grim fate and Phyllis’ close call.
