The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, February 12, reveal that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will try to stop herself from panicking after a disturbing phone call.
Chelsea already spoke with Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) guidance counselor and is trying to trust that his school’s equipped to handle his problems.
Unfortunately, Chelsea will get updates from some of Connor’s teachers and get even worse news than before.
It seems like Connor’s frustration is adding to his classroom difficulties and destroying his self-confidence.
The further Connor’s grades slip, the more upset he gets – and the more upset he gets, the further his grades slip!
It’s a terrible cycle for a sensitive kid to be stuck in, so Chelsea will lean on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) after she fills him in on the latest details.
Connor might have a major outburst, get into a fight with another student or make some other display that’s basically a cry for help.
Whatever the case, Billy will want to be Chelsea’s rock and convince her that they’re going to figure all this out.
At some point, Chelsea will need to bring Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in the loop as well, so she’ll hope he continues to keep his old impulses under control.
Other Y&R spoilers say Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will have a strategy session about the interior design firm, which has apparently hit a huge snag.
The whole business could go under if Sally can’t work with Chloe to find a solution, so they’ll get coffee and do some brainstorming.
Since Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) funded Sally’s venture, Chloe may argue that he’s invested in their success and might provide more money if asked.
There could at least be a situation where Nick could pull some strings or use his resources to help Chloe and Sally score more clients.
However, Sally doesn’t want to make things any more complicated with her ex or push the deal she struck with Nick too far.
Chloe might hint about Adam jumping at the chance to help, but Sally may not go for that suggestion either.
Sally is stubborn when it comes to letting other people come to her rescue, but maybe she’ll let Adam be her hero for once.
Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) also have an interrupted date fiasco coming up, which should play out early during the week of February 12-16.
