The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will create a dilemma for herself when she forces Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) out of Newman Media. Although Nikki will offer Audra a new gig running the London branch, Audra will reject the idea and accept that she’s fired.
Alas, that’ll still leave Nikki down a COO! The timing is terrible since Nikki hasn’t replaced Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) as her assistant yet either.
If Nikki can’t get some extra help ASAP, she’ll find herself drowning in work – and that could lead to her trying to drown her sorrows with vodka as well.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will refuse to let that happen, so he’ll insist they’re going to fix this once he comes to Nikki’s aid.
Unfortunately, Nikki won’t like the first handful of COO possibilities that Jack suggests.
Now that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has named Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) his co-CEOs, he’s thrilled over the brothers finally getting along.
Nikki won’t want to rob Victor of that joy by stealing Nick away – and she’d never trust Adam enough to work with him. The same goes for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), so she’ll nix that suggestion, too.
Nikki won’t see herself working with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who’s busy running her interior design business these days anyway.
As for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she walked away from Newman for the sake of her daughter. Since Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is Victoria’s priority, Nikki will want to respect that.
Just when it seems like they’re out of options, Jack will have a lightbulb moment and hint about the perfect person to take over for Audra.
Nikki will push Jack to tell her who he means, but he’ll want to do a little investigating and presumably make sure this person’s on board first.
However, Jack will feel pretty confident this person will step up – and he won’t think Nikki’s going to object.
Since Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) is returning to Y&R soon, it makes sense that Jack will ask him to slide in the COO spot.
Noah is trustworthy and would do just about anything for his grandmother – including fly back home to rejoin the family business.
It’s kind of funny that Audra will turn down a London job, but her ex-boyfriend may be leaving his life in London to take over the job she just lost!
Noah may not sign on for a permanent position since he’s running a London nightclub, but he can surely take some time away from it since Nikki needs him.
Of course, the big question is whether Noah is still a couple with Allie Nyguen (Kelsey Wang).
Noah may have split from Allie by now – or maybe he’ll just take some time apart from her while she continues working in Paris at the Jabot lab.
Allie and Noah have already been doing a bit of a long-distance relationship, so they may be used to it by now.
Naturally, having Noah back in Genoa City could stir up some messy emotions for Audra.
Part of Audra may be miffed about Noah taking her old COO seat, but another part of her may be glad Nikki’s able to rely on her grandson.
Audra might also feel a familiar flutter of her heart with Noah around, so will they rekindle anything while he’s in town?
Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Jack will offer important updates, so stay tuned for news on whether Noah will become Newman Media’s newest hire.
