The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is already uneasy about the lingering connection between Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), but things are only going to get worse from here.
After seeing some hand-holding at Crimson Lights and catching the exes lunching together at Society, Sharon has reasons to worry something is going on.
Of course, Phyllis and Nick tried to assure Sharon that they’re just friends, but could they cross back over into passionate territory soon?
If so, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time Nick and Phyllis surrendered to temptation.
Although Nick rejected Phyllis when she made a move on him earlier this year, that was different since she was drunk and at a low point.
Now Phyllis is over her Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) heartbreak and growing closer to Nick again, so maybe they’ll land back in bed together eventually.
If that happens, it could serve as the catalyst for jealous Sharon to totally lose control.
Sharon’s behavior is getting pretty strange due to her medication adjustments and all the Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) memories she’s struggling with.
Since Sharon’s emotions have been all over the place for a while now, some fans have started to wonder if she’s taking her medication at all!
Regardless, Sharon’s bipolar disorder could lead to some shockers as this storyline heats up.
It’s obvious that Sharon isn’t happy about Nick and Phyllis’ lingering bond, so the situation could get even worse if they legitimately reconnect in the bedroom.
It’s easy to imagine Sharon following Nick and catching him kissing Phyllis as they head into her suite.
Maybe Sharon could even walk in on Phyllis and Nick doing the deed.
Whatever the case, Sharon recently imagined she was kissing Nick – and based on the way that scene was filmed, it seemed like Sharon might’ve truly believed it was happening.
There could be other hallucinations along the way that add to Sharon’s belief that she’s back with Nick, which could leave her furious if she finds him “cheating” with Phyllis!
Our Y&R predictions hint that Sharon will do some wild things that catch Nick, Phyllis and everyone else by surprise, so stay tuned.
