The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) would do just about anything for Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei). Although Phyllis faked her demise, she regrets that now and would never hurt her kids so deeply again – at least not intentionally.
Phyllis is a total mama bear at this point, so she refuses to stand for anyone causing her children or grandchildren pain. That’s why this news about Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) has hit Phyllis so hard.
It’s breaking Phyllis’ heart to see Daniel torn up over the loss of Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) – not to mention her granddaughter, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant), is suffering.
Unfortunately, this family’s ordeal could get even worse if Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) succeeds in setting Daniel up. If Daniel gets arrested for eliminating Heather, Lucy is going to be an emotional wreck and spin out even further.
Likewise, Phyllis won’t hold back when it comes to making the person responsible for all this pay. It may not take Phyllis long to figure out Sharon pointed the finger at Daniel, so that could be another path to riling Phyllis up.
However, Phyllis is also a pretty good investigator when she wants to be. It’s easy to imagine Phyllis playing amateur detective to clear Daniel’s name and finding proof against Sharon in the process.
Then again, Phyllis might operate on a hunch and go after Sharon another way. Perhaps Phyllis could kidnap Sharon and try to force a recorded confession out of her in captivity.
Whatever the case, Phyllis won’t just sit back and do nothing – especially if Daniel ends up behind bars. That’s only going to motivate Phyllis to take justice into her own hands and bring down the real culprit.
Sharon is at fault for framing Daniel and for disposing of Heather’s body, but there are some puzzle pieces missing. Since Sharon had a blackout and can’t remember exactly what happened to Heather, it seems likely someone else actually caused her grim fate.
That’s something Phyllis might discover eventually, but unleashing her vengeful fury on Sharon could be a more pressing item on her to-do list.
Based on our Y&R predictions, the twist here may involve Phyllis going off the rails and almost matching Sharon’s level of unhinged in this storyline!
