The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, September 3, reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a run-in with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), so he’ll deny that they’re equals in the business world before calling “Billy Boy” a peacock and a parasite.
After Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has an encounter with Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) in the jazz lounge, she’ll sit down for a meeting with Victor and admit Billy fired her because she planned to push him out.
Lily will seek Victor’s help taking down Billy and will point out that she knows where Billy’s vulnerable. In exchange for her part in this team effort, Lily will want her old position at Chancellor back once the takeover is successful.
Victor will acknowledge that Lily is a woman who knows what she wants and will agree to give her proposal some thought. Our predictions point to some complications resulting from Lily’s attempt at a new alliance, so stick with us for more news on how it’ll all play out.
After Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) bumps into Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) at Crimson Lights), he’ll share some quick kisses with her before rushing to a work meeting.
At the office, Billy will give Chance updates on firing Lily and wonder if Chance has a problem with that. Chance will call the move ruthless and question if Billy would turn his back on him, too.
Billy will warn Chance not to give him a reason to, but Chance will try to resign as the conflict escalates. As Billy pushes Chance to stay and be a team player, Chance will ask where all this anger is coming from and wonder if it’s because he feels betrayed by Lily.
Billy will contend that he feels betrayed by everyone right now and will remain agitated.
In the park on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will push Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to get past Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) betrayal since he loves her and the one-night stand meant nothing.
Sally will fire back about Chelsea being in no position to tell her what to do. Furthermore, Sally will insist she heard from Billy that it’s not the first time Chelsea has cheated on him with Adam.
Chelsea will understand all that, but she’ll still hope that there’s a path forward for Adam and Sally. However, Sally will won’t want to get hurt again and will declare that the only way for that to happen is to stay as far away from Adam Newman as possible.
Adam will overhear and try to talk to Sally, but she’ll insist Chelsea is the one he needs to resolve things with.
Chelsea will question what Sally meant after she’s gone, but Adam will play dumb and cover up his admission about what happened between them being partly about love.
At Society, Sally will be distracted during a Marchetti Z meeting with Summer, Lauren and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), so Chloe will quiz her afterward.
Sally will admit that her romance with Adam is over, so Chloe will express relief before acknowledging that she hates to see Sally in pain. Despite her rage and sadness, Sally will plan to move on by throwing herself into the new collection.
