The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will continue to struggle with her emotions during the week of July 15-19. For starters, Sharon will have to contend with some troubling Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) dreams and visions.
We’ll see a fragile Sharon who’s barely keeping it together in the July 15 episode, but things will shift by the time the July 19 episode plays out.
That’s when Sharon will cross paths with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who’ll find a way to get under Sharon’s skin.
Phyllis has a knack for pushing buttons, especially when it comes to someone who’s an old rival.
Sharon would normally bite her tongue and go about her business since she’s used to how Phyllis operates, but not this time!
It’s possible Phyllis will act like Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) could be a bad influence on Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) or something along those lines.
It’d be easy for Phyllis to bring up Faith’s previous drunken joyride and stir the pot.
Then again, Sharon might side with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) on some Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) drama that’s coming up.
Phyllis might argue that Sharon’s opinion isn’t needed and suggest Nick needs to leave his other ex out of it.
Whatever the case, Phyllis will manage to provoke a big reaction in Sharon soon enough.
Sharon will end up at a table with Phyllis and Nick during some tense scenes at Society, but we won’t be surprised if Sharon ultimately storms out after her imminent tirade.
Nick will feel stuck in the middle of two women he’s always going to care about.
This confrontation may leave Nick torn if he feels like Phyllis is causing unnecessary problems while Sharon is perhaps overreacting due to her medication adjustments.
Since Y&R is doing this spinout story for Sharon, could her revived Phyllis feud lead to worse trouble?
Could Sharon target Phyllis in some way while she’s not in her right mind?
