The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) recently trashed Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in a conversation with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Phyllis agreed that Audra was a snake and made a prediction about her slithering her way back into Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) bed sooner or later.
Now that Audra is working with Kyle again, Summer and Phyllis think they’ll inevitably mix business with pleasure.
That puts Audra too close to Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) as far as Phyllis and Summer are concerned, so Phyllis asked how they were going to get rid of her.
The simplest answer would be to make sure Audra gets fired from Glissade so that she’s no longer in Kyle’s orbit.
As for how Summer might pull that off, she could start by voicing her fears to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and asking for his help.
Summer might push Victor to cut Audra loose, but he’s pretty particular about who runs which company and when.
Since Victor would surely have a hard time granting Summer’s request, she might have to sweeten the deal on her end.
Victor loves when his children and grandchildren work in the family business, but Summer has been working at Marchetti under the Jabot umbrella for quite some time.
What if Summer offers to join Newman Enterprises or even offers herself up as Audra’s Glissade replacement?
Summer might strike a deal where she’ll leave Marchetti and become part of Victor’s empire if he’ll terminate Audra’s employment.
Y&R fans know Victor values family above all else, so Summer might push him to do this for her and act like she can do a better job than Audra anyway.
Summer might also urge Victor to play hardball with Kyle on the custody situation and warn that he’ll lose his job if he doesn’t relent on a reworked agreement.
What’s the point in having a man as powerful as Victor for a grandpa if you don’t let him flex that power every once in a while?
Could Summer blindside Kyle by worming her way into Glissade’s co-CEO spot and gaining the custody upper hand, too?
Victor might have concerns about whether Summer would go after Jabot the way he wants, but she could decide she’ll do anything if it means getting rid of Audra and securing her place in Harrison’s life.
Summer may have to get creative and sink pretty low to get what she wants, so stick with us for updates on just how low she’ll go!
