The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Vs. Faith – Newman-Sister Rivalry Explodes Thanks To Feuding Moms?

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Vs. Faith, Newman-Sister Rivalry Explodes Thanks To Feuding Moms?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has finally come clean regarding her involvement in Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) demise.

Y&R viewers know that while she probably wasn’t the one to unalive Heather, she believes she did, and at least she came forward and admitted to framing Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei).

It’ll be hard for him to move forward, but now that he’s cleared of all charges, he can mourn his soul mate, properly, and help ease the pain for his daughter, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant).

Still, that doesn’t mean there won’t be more drama for Daniel and his family in the aftermath of this all.

During the Monday, November 18 episode, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) was in denial about her mother’s role in Heather’s passing, when she first heard the news.

In fact, she lashed out and blamed Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) for her relentless pursuit against Sharon, during a time her mom was struggling with her mental health.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) gently reminded Faith to not point the finger of blame to anyone, especially considering Phyllis’ medical condition after her accident.

Still, fans can’t help but feel as if Faith and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) could get pulled into this drama.

In the past, both ladies have remained neutral in their moms’ feud.

While Y&R viewers see more of Faith with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), this might be for storyline reasons.

Faith and Summer have always gotten along, and they’ve also been respectful to their respective stepmoms.

In fact, Faith happily accepted a teddy bear when Phyllis visited her in the hospital during her car crash.

Meanwhile, Summer has always been cordial to Sharon, despite her former stepmom tampering with her paternity results, once upon a time.

Could this all change? Nick recently pointed out that Faith was no longer a child, stating she was a 21-year-old adult, while talking to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in his office when the grandfather was concerned about his granddaughter.

What if Faith runs into Summer in the days or weeks ahead and the two have a face-off about their moms?

What if Faith overhears Phyllis and Summer bad-talking her mom? Could she lash out at them? Could Summer, in turn, step up and defend her mom?

Things will undeniably get ugly, as the entire truth hasn’t come out. Once it’s proven that Heather’s demise was a result of scheming by Ian Ward (Ray Wise) and Jordan (Colleen Zenk), Faith may feel even more justified to rip into Phyllis and/or Summer.

With a buzz that Sharon could have a brain tumor, considering her black out and hallucination symptoms, if and when that surfaces, that could add to Faith’s resentment of Summer and Phyllis, especially if Summer gives Faith some of her signature attitude and snarky-ness along the way.

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that as Faith is a big girl now, so maybe, it’s time for her to truly dive into the drama by engaging in a bonafide rivalry.

With that said, will her first opponent be her sister?
