The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, February 29, reveal that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have some stipulations when it comes to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan and the jeopardy it could put Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) in.
Even the great Victor Newman can’t control every single thing in a plot like this, so Victoria will share some ground rules that’ll help her feel better about Claire’s safety.
Of course, Victor will have to admit his staged photoshoot idea, which should leave Victoria even more concerned.
It may seem like Victor is throwing Claire into the lion’s den, but Victor will count on Jordan (Colleen Zenk) to throw herself in there instead – that is if the setup works like Victor expects.
It appears the goal is to lure Jordan to Victoria’s house while Claire stays safely tucked away at the ranch.
Jordan might catch on and head straight for the ranch instead, so it’ll be interesting to see how this whole plot plays out.
Regardless, Victoria will strike a deal with Victor on Thursday’s Y&R episode, so it sounds like he’ll agree to her demands and give her a little more peace of mind regarding Claire’s protection.
Over with Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James), he’ll refuse to budge when it comes to the name change at Chancellor-Winters and the power play that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is trying to make.
While Devon digs his heels in, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will get into another argument with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
That’ll presumably involve the situation with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) since Adam and Chelsea are so focused on that right now.
Adam might find out about Chelsea deciding to visit Connor after all and object to Billy taking her.
Chelsea was the one who pumped the brakes on Adam’s visit to the school in the first place, so it’s easy to see why he’d get riled up.
However, Chelsea will be all out of patience when it comes to her disagreements with Adam.
This isn’t the time to be bickering since Connor really needs his parents to come together.
After Chelsea rages at Adam, it looks like they’ll both realize Connor’s well-being is the most important thing.
There’ll be some scenes where Adam and Chelsea see Connor at his school soon, so they’ll manage to work through this co-parenting crisis as a team.
